I don't like bras, but for 2 months my mom is making me wear one everyday. She says I need and it's for my best. I tried to talk her out of it but she didn't agree. I got stuck to wearing a bra everyday. Some of my friends don't wear one, but mom says bras are important tp prevent women's breasts from sagging and every good girl should wear one. And since she says I'm a good girl, I gotta wear one. I complained and complained, but my mom is nice and I don't disobey. I ended up promising her I won't take off my bra behind her back and wil always wea it like a good girl. Oh, I can't break a promise I made my mom, what do I do now?
I'm a good girl, what did I do to deserve the "punishment" of sweating in a bra? And it's kinda hard to clip that thing in my back. But I promise my mom I'd wear.

point her to "goingbraless dot ?" . It is a genuine women's site discussing the health benefits of not wearing this quite modern but un-necessary piece of clothing. The bra is implicated in the rise in breast cancer rates, and not wearing one was never seen as making you a "not-nice" girl before they were invented.
And it's not called "sagging" - it's your breasts taking their natural shape, they're not supposed to point directly at the person you're talking to like a pair of traffic cones.
If you still can't persuade her of the health benefits, put the bra behind your back with the hooks in front of you, fasten it then slide it round your waist, put your arms through the straps and position for minimum discomfort.
late amendment - it's "goingbraless dot net"

I hear ya!!!
I obviously don't wear one, but I did see a program on Discovery or the like some months ago.
One of the MAJOR points that they made in the program is that the vast majority of women are wearing bra's that are too small for them and thus very uncomfortable.
I wish I remembered the specifics for you, but it had to do with the measurement of the circumference of the body at the breasts and the cup size. Just taking that measurement (say 34") and then defining a cup size (say B) doesn't provide proper fit, support, and comfort. That is about all I can offer on the "technical" aspect of fitting a bra.

Here's what I think you should do.
Go to a very good lingerie store and seek out their sales-lady with the best bra fitting knowledge and see if she can help you get fitted properly. Watch and listen carefully so you will know how to fit one for yourself. As you go through life your body will probably change (+ and - ) and it will be helpful for you to know how to do it. Not only that but a proper fit will make the whole bra wearing thing more bearable.
Hope this helps.

There are so many different types of bras now. You can get some the clip in the front instead of the back. If I were you, I would go bra shopping again. Try on every different brand and style that you think you might like. I'm sure you'll be able to find one that is more comfortable to wear.

You should definitely wear it. If you don't, your breasts could sag when you are still very young. Trust me, it's not attractive. Maybe you can get your mom to get you one that is more comfortable or has a clasp in the front.

It seems to make sense just to wear it and to talk any concern about wearing it over with your mom. She's got a good reason for wanting you to wear it and I'm sure she'll listen to good reasons not to.

It sucks, but it's part of growing up. If your mom thinks you should wear one, then you probably do. Nobody likes wearing them, but you will eventually get used to it.

When I was your age, I didn't want to wear one either and I needed it. Give it time, you will grow to love them and enjoy shopping for them.
