Well... if you find yourself in hell, look me up. I will be there, skinny dipping in a lake of fire, waiting for you!

Interestingly, the christians have a way to justify the pi thing. In the bible, it's talking about an actual physical bowl, not an abstract circle. This means that the edge of the bowl has a certain thickness to it. If you measure the circumference around the inside edge of the bowl, and measure the diameter between the outside edges, then you might indeed get a ratio of 3.0.
As for bats/birds, that's a product of modern categorization. It doesn't pose any problems for me.
If you want to point out biblical contradictions, there are way better examples than those two. My favorite one involves the ten commandments... see the linked source!

Dear dev,
I do not understand where you have gotten your information but I reccommend that you only use the Bible (KJV). In answer to your question, one will go to hell because his/her sins have not been paid for by the Lord Jesus Christ (God). To pay one's sin debt requires an eternity under the wrath of God. Hell is the place where the sentence of eternal damnation will be carried out. Hell does not exists at this present time but on the last day (which marks the end of the world and time), those who have never had their sins paid for by the Lord Jesus Christ will be judged and then cast into hell. Because the Lord is perfectly just He cannot condemn anyone to hell without a trial. The trial will take place on the last day and all those who have never been saved (redeemed) will be cast into hell for eternity. If you would like to know more see the website mentioned at the end of the page.

From what I have been told the answer is yes. I'll see ya there, my friend.
Oops, there is only one problem with that, there is no hell or sin. Those words came from the imaginations of men. God in no way inspired such anger and bigotry.

Ok now I'm confused. Aren't bats mammals and not birds anyway? I don't think that you are going to hell, but you aren't going to go too far here on this earth with knowledge like that.

The bible is not always perfect in Math, Science, or Geography. In some places the bible contradicts itself of where exactly specific places are. But the bible is ALWAYS right about matters of faith. The bible is for faith, not math or science.

Naw, all disciples of the FSM go to Pastafarian heaven. Stripper factories, beer volcanos .... :-)
I love my religion with a side of humor. I just don't want to go to heaven unless it's going to be fun.
Can I get a Ramen for that?
