If you're talking about brewed coffee, after a day or so, it gets cloudy and bitter tasting. You can store brewed coffee in a glass carafe in the refrigerator for a day, and reheat as needed.
If you're talking about ground coffee or coffee beans, they can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer to extend their life. After awhile, the oils in the beans start to taste a bit funny, but just shy of mold or insect infestation, coffee seldom goes bad.
Now mind you, these are answers are all what I've read and heard. . .around here, coffee never lasts long enough in ANY form to go bad! :-)

Ground coffee loses its flavor with age. Otherwise, it really doesn't
"go bad" unless it gets bugs or mold in it. And that would be obvious. Brewed coffee gets thick, bitter and nasty to smell and taste after it sits around. That's obvious too.

espresso is undesirable in basic terms basically with the help of caffeine.yet optimal sodas are in basic terms as loaded with caffeine. A mocha latte each each so many times won't harm you, nor will a cup of espresso an afternoon or a soda an afternoon. this is as quickly as you start up off ingesting a brilliant style of any of them that it isn't best for you. Caffeine will advance blood sugar, adrenaline, and coronary heart fee. good for alertness; undesirable standard.
