Im just asking cause me and my friend were talking and i told her i think that sometimes pretty girls have a harder time finding someone. I just want to see what everyone else thinks. Thanks

you are so right . Men have a tendency to be intimidated by beautiful women because men feel they are not worthy of them for these women are put on pedestals. To imagine what would happen if the guy got shot down by a this type of woman, would seriously hurt their ego . Average girls have it easier because they are more approachable. or at least seem more down to earth and could be on their level

I think pretty girls sometimes have a harder time keeping someone because they haven't developed anything below the surface. When a relationship with an unattractive girl occurs it is because the guy sees "who" they are and thus the surface becomes attractive. Also a guy will stay with someone as long as he feels good about himself when he is with her. This can happen for pretty girls to but more times than not that is the only thing they have going for them. It's been many years now but I danced Hula for a long time and that's all guys saw was a "hula dancer". My husband of many years was not the attractive guy most went for but since has become the one that my friends often refer to as " The good one that is taken". You must look beyond the surface.

That’s a valid question, and, yes it can be true. I have to admit to being judgmental. A woman can be too pretty to be approachable for your average guy (me), and being with a “knock-out” can be tiresome as well. Too much attention where ever we went, so the hot babes are almost a turn off in that sense. I also think it’s harder for an extremely pretty girl to develop a meaningful personality when being pandered to by everybody. Fortunately there are wonderful exceptions too. I met a woman I had worked with over the phone a while back, and even though It was unjustified, I was expecting her to be less than attractive because she was so genuine and sweet. Wow was I wrong! I can say it kinda is the same for both ugly and pretty women. Reasons being:
1) When you are pretty, You do have higher standard... until the day comes when a women gets tired of all the "hot" guys cheating on her and treating her like crap, then they go for the "nice ones"..
2) It is harder for a ugly girl to meet a guy from time to time becuase guys aren't oozing all over her..but it is more likely for a ugly girl to find someone that actually CARES about her alot more quickly..
So it all depends on the question you are asking...If it is just finding someone to be with then it is easier for a pretty girl...but to find someone to spend your LIFE with..it is about the same..because then it is no longer JUST about looks...

I'm quite attractive and people always say, "You shouldn't have a problem finding a guy because youre so pretty". To hell with them! Nowadays you have to be over the top gorgeous for a good man to even look at you let along date you. Some, but not all, guys are threatened by smart pretty girls. They just want trophies.

I've heard this suggested before... "Because a guy is only going to go after an ugly girl if he really cares about her."
That's not true.
The reason it's easier for unattractive girls is this. The hotties are too busy fighting over the 'bad boys' that they all love so much. It tends to leave the nice guys to settle for what's left.
And the reason it works that way... contrary to belief, isn't because girls like bad boys. It's because everybody wants somebody they can 'change for the better'.
And most of them refuse to believe that you can't change someone who doesn't want to be changed.

in some cases it is harder for a real attractive girl 2 find someone, some men see a real attractive girl and they get intimidated, they feel they have no chance with them so they don't even bother pursing, in other cases the girl feels she's to good 4 most people so she denies everyone.

Pretty girls, canwalk into any bar, snap her fingers and leave with a guy in 5 minutes & a less that pretty girl has to work harder on it, it's almost the same with men, hot hunk getthe girls faster than less than hot guys.
Now, pretty girls might also might have to wait longer for a guy to approach them as most guys ar thinking shes so hot , she has to have a BF.

Vanity attracts vanity. If you see through a person's appearances often times you find something much more impressive then looks. People that care for their appearances above the content of their character are extremely shallow. Often vapid people turn me off faster then ugly people.
A person is generally 3 fold, appearance, intellect and spirit. While appearance will get a person in a door, it won't hold water if the other two factors don't exist.

I do think certain females find it harder to someone because some guys assume that you are either taken or stuck up. I get that all the time and I am really laid back.
