Wow, that's really spiteful! Why is it your business what your neighbors do and how they live? How do you "know" they are over the income limit...some things are not always as they appear. If they are cheating the system, they will eventually get caught and end up having to pay back what they took!

Don't you have enough business of your own, why are you so into their business. If they are above income guidelines don't you think the agency would know that. My, My, you seem to be pretty bored that you have so much precious time to consume your daily thoughts with the business of the neighbors. Girl, pick up a book and read it. Your being really silly. What is really bothering you about your neighbors, what did they do or not do to you? That is what is wrong with the world today, now if they were beating the children or producing a meth lab you probably wouldn't think of reporting that and becoming involved. Get a hobby!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam Smith's "Law of Unintended Consequences" predicted this in the 1800's When the government makes unnatural changes in any economic system the end result will most often be the exact opposite of the intent of the changes. When you squeeze a balloon it bulges at the opposite poles. What is such an astounding surprise is the realization, anyone would believe taking people and putting them in homes they could never afford to keep up, wouldn't produce dilapidated homes in a crumbling neighborhood? Being liberal seems to entail never looking at the inevitable outcomes of your actions. Once again we see how the government always produces more of what it pays to eliminate. When government is charged with ending all human suffering, it must in due course, attract more humans who suffer. The people who are attracted expect government to help. Those of us who value liberty and wish to keep American principles of a limited government self reliance and duty to God and Country are placed at their mercy. We, who are expected to have compassion for their suffering, are forced into slavery for the benefit of those who suffer. The voices grow ever louder for "government to do it's job" while they fail to realize they are stealing liberty from those of us who already are doing our jobs. Not long afterwords people realize it's just as productive to be a taker, as it is to be a maker. This is exactly why a limited government promoting liberty succeeds; and a government of compassion fails. The money always runs out as the need for compassion grows. People used to be grateful for charity, now they are demanding it as a right, and aren't even aware they are getting what others have worked for.

how do you know if they make to much. i am one of section 8, but if you entered my home you would think i have money because i am a smart decorator as well as one who gets many hand me downs. but i am a family of 5 and my hubby only makes 19,000.00 a year. we get partial section 8, do they? a family of 5 in my state can make no more that 2,500 a month in total house income to qualify for the program. look into your local section 8 programs web site to see all this. mainly call your local section 8 office for such questions. you say you believe they are, but proof is the main thing. and above income can be not judged by what you see but how you know.

yes, you would call the fraud investigator for the section 8 office in your area. most places will accept an anonomous call and take your information, you must have their names, address and how you have come about knowing they have more income (in some states) ... the fraud investigator will then look into this and will proceed.
unfortunately there are too many dishonest people out there and section 8 and other agencies count on people like you to help them out since its not possible for them to police everyone.
but also don't expect the section 8 office to tell you what happened, there is a privacy law.

Maybe they had nice stuff before they became poor and didn't sell it all yet. Maybe they saved some money or used what little they have to buy something to look nice at job interviews. You never know. Meanwhile, other people in your neighborhood probably don't intend to try to get a job. Ever.

Be thankful for what you've got.

How do you know that? Have you asked? Or are you just assuming? How do you know that someone does not have a illness or is diable in someway or another. Sounds to me like your just being noisy. I'm sure for them to be on section 8 then had to go thut alot of interviews and be screened. I bet if they were to win millions of dollars you would be right there trying to ride on there coat tails or would that make you mad also.
I would hate to be your neighbor.

Section 8 is low-cost housing based on income (based on income- get it) My mom got Section 8 for 3 years while my dad never paid a penney to help raise us. She worked 2 jobs trying to support her 4 daughters working night and day we barely saw her between jobs. We never got food stamps or anything else, but when our pantry got empty and my mom went and got a 3rd job we got kicked out of Section 8 because they said my mom made too much money. Go figure....that's when my mom had to move back in with my dad because she had no way to support us. That summer he knocked out 3 of her teeth and she had to get 15 stitches across the eye. My sisters and I watched the whole thing .... I was 10. He went to jail and my mom went back to working 2 jobs.... 4 months later the electricity got cut off, then the water and gas got cut off because my mom paid the light bill instead. That's when CPS came and told my mom she had 1 week to get everything cut on or she'd lose her kids. We lived on hot dogs, bread, and ramen noodles for the next 2 months because my mom had to pay back the money she'd borrowed from her boss. My mom worked her *** off and the government gave her the cold shoulder. SOME PEOPLE NEED HELP !!!!!! WHY CAN'T BUSY BODIES LIKE YOU STOP BITCHING ABOUT IT? MY OWN GRANDPARENTS CALLED US WHITE-TRASH TO OUR FACES BUT NEVER ONCE OFFERED TO HELP!! WHY DO PEOPLE SIT BACK AND SNICKER AT PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST TRYING TI MAKE IT IN LIFE?
