in our home we had lots of kids .like my cousines
so this was a common problem
so the common practice was to give pomogranate juice
dont add any sugar to this juice
just fresh juice should b given
and for more effective results
this is a recipe ,its good for health, stops vomiting ,not only for children but adults also
the outer skin of pomogranate fruit should be boiled in water
it can b fresh or dried one also
but fresh is effective
just add 1.5 glsses of water n put the skin of whole fruit(small fruit)
and bring it to boil and reduce the water to 1 glass
taste it
if is to thick, reduce the intake
if u r givin it for a child then giv 3 to 4 spoons
at regular intervals
for adults 1/2 glass
if the taste is very sharp just add a bit of water
it worked for us from years n v still do it for small kids
good for intestine also which is most of the times is affected due to pressure on the tummy while vomiting
so hope u try it
natures cure is the best cure
during this giv light food like conji to the child
and sugarn salt solution also
which will prevent dehidration

any child that is vomiting should not be given anything at all by mouth for at least eight hours. Putting anything, even water, in a toddler's tummy after vomiting, simply induces further vomiting.
After eight hours, slowly introduce sips of any clear liquid, like water, pedialyte even flat seven up. If no further vomiting, increase fluid intake for another eight hours. After that slowly introduce soft foods like jello, pudding, rice, soup. But that first eight hours with absolutely nothing by mouth is essential to stop the vomiting once and for all.

I would try Pedialyte (found in the grocery) or watered down Gatorade. If he/she doesn't stop vomiting, the doctor can give you suppositories to insert anally which will stop the vomiting. Be careful because a 4 yr. old can dehydrate quickly.

She/he needs to drink something, but don't give anything with sugar, that might cause more vomiting. I would take them to the doctor, you never know what is going around.

Don't give you child any meds until you take him/her to the Dr. If he/she can try to eat crackers or drink flat 7 up, I would try that. It is important to keep your child hydrated because excessive vomiting can cause dehydration. I think that you should take him/her to the Dr. just to be safe.
