I'm so sorry to hear that - I can't imagine what you've been through. I don't blame you for being anxious with this one! But every pregnancy is different. Other than working closely with your doctor because of your history, don't get so stressed out that you don't enjoy the current pregnancy. Best of luck!

twins are tough. Sorry for your loss, but remember every pregnancy is totally different. Congratulations. I had two girls four years ago and have had 3 miscarriages before now. I am now 20 weeks pregnant with a boy. It is very possible to have a perfect pregnancy. even after major problems that you had before. It is time to let go of the past. Mabey those boys will be sending you a little girl to love and Cherish. It will be your little angel. (sorry I get excited when i talk about baby's) But mabey that is really what it is. Those boys see there mom and know what she needs. They talk to God.
this gives information about having a baby after having tragedy's.

Well first off ever pregnancy is different. I think you should just treat this pregnancy as if it was your first!! Dont compare things that happened during the first pregnancy. Thats only going to make you stress out more!!! Just enjoy your pregnancy and relax. Everything will be alright ... Good Luck with everything!

I am sorry about your loss in 2003. But all pregnancies are differant. You should try your best to really enjoy this pregnancy. Count it as a blessing.some people cant conceive after first pregnancies. or cant get pregnant at all. Best wishes to you. and congrats on the pregnancy.

I had a stillborn in 97 and my little boy was full term. I then had a HEALTHY little boy in 98. The doctor told me that I could NEVER carry kids after my stillborn although I got preg. with my little boy and he was healthy. YES, I compared him with my other son yet that was ALOT of STRESS on my son. After my son I had my tubes cut tied and burned. It has been 8 years sense I have my son and I had a reversal in Nov 05 and got preg. in Jan. Had a miscarriage I FREAKED out thinking this other doctor told me NOT to have ANYMORE I ended up going to infertility center and they told me that the doctor who told me that was quacked in the head because there is NO reason I could NOT carry it was just a freak accident. I did NOT KNOW that I was preg. AGAIN when I had went here. I am NOW 15 weeks and DOING WELL! Don't stress hun because they told me when you stress that CAN cause a miscarriage. I would be lieing to you if I would set in say I NEVER had thoughts yet ALL we can do is set back and THINK POSITIVE this one IS THE ONE! CONGRATS AND BEST WISHES

I don't think you can compare the two, unless you find yourself having similar symptoms to your first pregnancy. Just try to relax and enjoy the experience and let your doctor know if you have any concerns. I think the stress of worrying too much will not be healthy for you. Best wishes. s.

I'm sorry about your loss. Look at this pregnancy as a blessing and new beginning, not a comparison. Your going to be just fine. Enjoy and have faith.

No, I would not compare the pregnancies.
ALL pregnancies are different.
My first I was sick non stop, really sick.
My second, placenta previa, no morning sickness, terrible time breathing and fighting off infections (especially in my ears), boils under my arms around my breasts...nightmare.
God bless your babies that are with Him and blessings for you and your baby to come!

every pregnancy is different so don't compare them. You can however ask your doctor to take this test like i did. It tells u if u're in risk for pre-term labor... u can go to www.babycenter.com to find out more information on preterm labor and also on the test.
