Does the 'real' mom know this is making huge problems for her- I use the word loosely- son? My oldest nephew's biological father was nothing to brag about. The grandmother is a good sort, but it took her a while to learn to put her foot down- and until she did learn, the boy was always hard to deal with after a visit to her.

Make sure your son understands what the rules are in your house, and that they will be enforced. And if worse comes to worst, you may indeed have to cut the visits out- though that will probably involve the courts.

Good luck with the boy: A normal 9 year old can be difficult, and with ADHD is more so.

Have a meeting with her. Don't come out & say you are parenting bad but talk about keeping his schedule consistant & correcting negative behavior the same way. That way the child gets consistant treatment at both homes.

Sounds like the mom is from Mims, Fl. LOL! Tell her what's going on and also threaten to call family services if things don't change. You should be keeping a journal as well. Very helpful to look back on!!! I wouldn't suggest killing her.

If it is affecting him then maybe you should get an attorney involved and go to court limiting his time with his mother. I have a conversation with her and let her know that she has to set rules for him because he needs structure. If it continues or gets worse then involve the attorney. Good Luck with your situation.

I would let her know. It sounds like you might have to get the courts involved. Don't let this woman do this to you. Kill her if you have to.
