my throat has been hurting for about 1 week now and its only my left side, it hurts to swallow n all but im not sick and havnt had a cold for a while. the pain persist without gettin better at all. what can it be?

It’s definitively an infection, I had the same exact thing twice, you have to take antibiotics but the pain will go away very slowly, it usually last one to two weeks. Try asking a pharmacist for a spray that you can spray it right in your throat, that helps with the pain, and also take pain medicine for the pain.

u could have strep throat..is ur throat red with white blotches.if so u need to go to the E.R and get an antibiotic and u r extremely contagious until then so be careful around loved ones

You need to see the doctor, could be and infection. I ended up with strep throat not too long ago.

oyu can have a minor irritation but i reccomend going to a doctor you might have strep throat or you caught something.

Sounds like tonsilitus.You probably need an antibiotic.

You could b having an allergic reaction to something u've been eating.
