We are not all Bible thumpers. I do understand why some people are skeptic about the existence of God. I do ask questions about the many contradictions in the Bible. I rather not be pooled in with the Christians who take the Bible to litterally, and who aren't willing to listen to the other side's arguements.

Just because you aren't Christian does NOT mean you believe in the devil.

There are contradictions in the Bible. If you would just read it, you would see them.

There are people in every religion that make other believers look bad. Televangelists who have extra-marital affairs make us Christians look bad. Radical-extremist terrorists make Muslims look bad. The point of the matter is this: everyone has the right to believe (or not believe) in their own faith. We should not judge other people for what they do or do not believe. That is God's (Allah's/Jehovah's, etc.) job. Instead of cursing each other, we should all pray for each other in our own way. If we do good by ourselves, whether we are religious or not, what harm would it do?

Im not a thumper either and the bible doesnt make sense in some parts and leaves time periods out. I beleive this way, GOD to me is there, I wont push my beliefs on you. I believe in eye for an eye
It's okay to ask questions about the bible, I feel those like the one who called you an idiot are afraid of people who ask questions. YOU CAN still be a christian and question it

that Travis dood is a hypocrite
there are many contridicting points in the bible that i dont understand but would like to.
that doesnt make us any less of a christian
it makes him one for calling you an idiot
any ways people act that way because they DONT know God and expect everyone to be the same
people who take the bible and worship it and belive every single thing it says even if they dont understand it are off there rocker
I dont like the word christian
i call it apersonal relationship with God
"Christians" persay
read the bible and belive it
instead of Talking to God and asking HIM what it means
so dont consider yourself a Christian
just have a realtionship with the three God heads in one
and Consider the bible
not as a rule book
but as something that will help you and make you feel better in times of grief and other personal problems you may face

How many people on here are willing to listen when somebody disagrees? Not many. This is especially true in the Bible-thumper vs atheist fights (on BOTH sides).
For some reason, Christian bashing is the only form of prejudice and discrimination which is still considered politically correct, and nobody in the federal government is willing to do anything about it.

Listen no body thinks Christians are bad, why many Christians and Muslims are derided and told to be bad is because your religions are intollerant,
Bible states that if you do not believe in Christ even if you are good throughout your life you go to hell, Do you think the Atomic Blast victims of Hirosima and Nagasaki who were Buddhist will end up in Hell
or Will the Red Indians who were killed by the Pilgrims goto hell as they did not convert having knowledge of Christr.
Even the Jews say that God when he will come on Earth will Judge people only by the Ten commandments and he will create a heaven on Earth for Every one Even non believers. and there will never be any wars, famine, sickness or disease.

Me either! I honestly believe that some are as impressed with themselves being "holy." I just read another question where the asker referred to people as "worldlies." I mean, get a grip! They can't fathom that if they think they are so holy and so close to God then that is the time when Satan can do the most work because these types of people think that they are above that. They treat people who are not like themselves as projects. I read a question once that complained of having to work with an atheist all day and she didn't know how the other "Christians" did it. How do they think they are going to convince anybody of anything if they treat others like they need to be worked on? Did Jesus do that? I don't think so. Meanwhile, we are all lumped together, but who can blame them for thinking we are all the same?

If you are a true Christian, this world will hate you, the world hated our Savior and they killed him, do you think it should be any better for us? WE are not of this world, if we were the world would love us, because we would be just like them,,, doomed ,,if they don't change their evil ways..... AND,,, you had better take the bible literally or you will get a very rude awakening some day. If you don't take it for what it says, why do you even call yourself a Christian????? STOP WAVERING, either you are or you are not, STAND UP FOR THE HOLY BIBLE..There is only 2 sides the right side and the wrong side which side are you on?

It's the people who are terrified of the existence of God who tend to pool all us Chrisians together. I think people are jealous that as Christian we have something called faith that cannot be scientifically explained but does nevertheless exist. And even the bible thumpers have a place in heaven. I think all us Christian should stick together just so we have a forum of like-minded people to ask questions, and because our love of our neighbours is a huge part of what makes us Christians.

So many self righteous so called christians out there eh? We are all babies learning to walk the way Jesus wants us to. This is why you question and ponder. That is NOT a bad thing, this is what we are meant to do, otherwise we are just following a sheep in wolves clothing to the slaughter, good for you. I agree that you should not let the uneducated comments of bashers bother you instead think of the peace your knowledge is giving you and pray that those who don't understand will have their eyes opened and be saved. God Bless.

check out my questions and the answers to my questions. Sometimes I am rude but after a while you will see why.
check out my blog roll and some of the sites I have their. Jesus is a myth
there are thousands of contradictions in the bible. scientific ones, scribal errors, ethical absurdities, atrocities. impossibilities, scientific errors, historical inaccuracies, talking animals, myth and legend, philosophical absurdities. All the things one would expect in primitive writings.
EDIT
unfortunately Tori_Bird you will have to put up with the insults from Christians all the days of your life. Fundamentals are right, God does burn sinners, its in the new testament. Give it up, bible God does not exist. Seek truth and the truth will set you free. Any true God makes the sun/son rise for both the good and the bad. Become a free thinker. realize, Jesus was a myth.
Good luck!
