I live in Maine, usually it snows 4-6' total a year . We own a 2006 corolla.
Okay, I found original tires lacking in snow, they are more like a touring type tire. Very small tread pattern. Car also has little feedback in steering wheel, so when driving on snow or ice, hard to tell when starting to skid / spin. We bought used studded snow tires and new rims. Made a world of differnce. front wheel drive works as most would in snow.

I have one but I have never driven in the snow. I'm sure it would be fine though. After all it's a toyota you get quality with them.
