This is more of a answer... many people are misguided about the religion and the beliefs, even though people might think that yahoo users are liberal and open minded, i have seen pretty scary questions and answers regarding islam here.

David, islam as a religion is a different thing, and the militant groups in the mid east who resort to terror, and hide behind the Quran are different. It is true however that the islamic nations in mideast are fanatically trying to destroy isreal, and we all hope that changes.

Not everyone is against Muslims/Islamics mate. My wife and children are completely saddened by the negativity experienced by followers and hope that someday in the future it will subside and they will be able to experience a positive life like the rest of us without prejudice. Would U believe I can identify more with Islam?
More than Christianity due 2 the Intent by Leaders 2 allow single-sex marriages & proberly already planning much worse 2 come!
I fear Christianity will die & B lost beneath the Mire!
Islam I do not fear, it's near 2 my own views of God, Laws, Morals, Values & Ethics.
Not that I'm thinking of joining any Organised Religion(s).

The bottom line which you nor no one else wishes to admit is that the Extremists win, because they put edicts out saying YOU are fair game to be purged as an Infidel!
Notice how few Moderate clerics get on TV and oppose the extremists.
They aren't fools, they know that will bring them a death sentence!
The fact of the matter is, the rank and file Islamic leaders keep just as quiet as the rank and file Proestants did during the year of the KKK terrorism against black people.

Don't expect them to let you keep your X Box, video or CD collection and it contains a lot of vile things.
When Push comes to Shove Islam is just like all the other Fascists out there, like the old USSR or the current Chinese. They control what you see, hear and belive. You go up against them, you end up dead or in some hell hole for 30 years.
This is not to say Catholics and Proestants are any better. They aren't. That's why I want to keep church and state part.
I don't want another "dark ages" in which only the Catholic Preists knew reality and the rank and file members didn't.
Fact, you have to digest. Until the 8th Century AD Arabia and Persia was the bread basket of science and invention.
After Islam they live in the dark ages. To the point where Islam has been so foolish they have to import Nuclear scienctists from outside the Middle East to get the technology.
They sort of shot themselves in the foot and now realize the errors of their ways.
I mean, they couldn't train to fly 767 in Iran or Afghanistan or Iraq or Syria. They HAD to do in the US, because we hve the technology widely available and they don't.
Commercial pilots from out there have to go to France or England or Russia or American to learn to fly big jets.
This technology is not being kept from them by us (well, it is after 9-11, but not before). This technology was kept from them by the Ayotollah who declared most technology evil and anti-Islamic!
So there's your lesson and I have long since warned people to watch for Islam to grow from 1% of the religious people in America to 10%. On that day the ground work for changes in the Pledge of Allegiance will occur and one day everyone's child might say
One Nation
Under Allah!
Islam in America is a much greater ill than Communism every was, for the numbers of people FAR outnumber the total Communists in America at any point in time!
The day will come when the Dollar Bill of the US says

Islam....the motivation behind the hate to the point of death of anyone not Islamic. Expecting others to tolerate their different beliefs while planning to execute those who are indifferent to theirs. Where were you on 9/11?
Islamic countries...the same countries who want American Finance and thinking they are entitled to it while holding protests against the red,white, and blue wallet.

Too bad there aren't videos of muslims who come to christ in islamic countries, but since they have to flee for their lives there's usually no time to make them.
