What would a taxi ride cost going from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC to Jersey City? I am going to be getting off a bus at the terminal and have no idea how to get to my hotel.

Thanks!

Depends quite a bit on where......there are also buses and trains that go to Jersey City ....check new jersey transit's website.

120$ is way off. I would guess yellow cab would cost 40-50$ maybe as little as 30$....

Yahoo maps has an option to show public transport and shows some of the stops....or you could call a car service company and ask the fare.. communicar is a big car service here.

forget the cab....

try www.trips123.com or www.njtransit.com for info on using public tranportion. have your hotels street address handy.

You should be able to get a commuter bus out of the PABT to most places in Jersey City.
It couldn't hurt to call your hotels local phone number and ask them.
