yes, they believe in dinosaurs...like other people said...they are mentioned in the book of Job. i was raised a baptist, so i know exactly what they teach...they believe they walked with man as well....they find fossils of man laying next to dinasaurs. But at the same time, i'm not a baptist anymore...i'm non-denominational.
oh and to the lady who said something about 1sec is like a million years to God....i think you may have ment that 1 day is as a thousand years....1000 years in our time is like 1 day to God. Creationists use this verse to help prove that the earth is only like 6000 yrs old....which would be 6 days to God and they belive God will come back in the 7000th year..or 7th day ...because God made the wold in 7 days apparently....i don't know..like i said..this is what i was taught...but i choose to make a big deal out of it.

Reading the Bible carefully, you will realize that no living creature matches the descriptions of behemoth and Leviathan. However, if you grab your dinosaur book, you will notice several possible matches for each one.
Behemoth has the following attributes according to Job 40:15-24
It “eats grass like an ox.”
It “moves his tail like a cedar.” (In Hebrew, this literally reads, “he lets hang his tail like a cedar.”)
Its “bones are like beams of bronze,
His ribs like bars of iron.”
“He is the first of the ways of God.”
“He lies under the lotus trees,
In a covert of reeds and marsh.”
Some bibles and study bibles will translate the word “behemoth” as “elephant” or “hippopotamus.” Others will put a note at the edge or bottom of the page, stating that behemoth was probably an elephant or a hippopotamus. Although an elephant or hippopotamus can eat grass (or lie in a covert of reeds and marsh), neither an elephant or a hippopotamus has a “tail like a cedar” (that is, a tail like a large, tapered tree trunk). In your dinosaur book you will find lots of animals that have “tails like a cedar.”
We would expect behemoth to be a large land animal whose bones are like beams of bronze and so forth, so whatever a behemoth is, it is large. A key phrase is “He is the first of the ways of God.” This phrase in the original Hebrew implied that behemoth was the biggest animal created. Although an elephant or a hippopotamus are big, they are less than one-tenth the size of a Brachiosaurus, the largest (complete) dinosaur ever discovered.[1] A Brachiosaurus could therefore easily be described as “the first of the ways of God.”

Dinosaurs are mentioned in Job 40-41. As well as mention of dragons throughout medieval history and pictures and stories of large dragon like animals in asia. Many christians believe that Dinosaurs did exist alongside man, and many were wiped out by a cataclysmic event called The Flood. On top of that, duh...there is evidence of dinosaurs existing by the fossils. We aren't idiots, contrary to your obvious bias.

yes we believe in dinosaurs if you read Job some of the animals he describes had to be dinosaurs.(Job is the oldest book of the Bible) there have been numerous finds that have dinosaurs and man living at same time. a river bed think in Washington state with mans tracks next to dinosaurs found in a dry river bed. a crustation that was suppose to have lived 200 millions years ago found on the imprint on a mans foot print.

I don't think dinosaurs were around when man was. I believe in them. Look at the physical evidence... bones.
Job and Isiah talk of creatures that sound like dinosaurs.

There are references to large beasts in the Bible. There are also large holes in the time line given. The Bible is supposed to be about the interaction between men and God, dinosaurs wouldn't have been a big issue worth mentioning.

Yes, I'm not into scientific stuff, but i have heard teachings about it. Apparently Christians do believe that dinosaurs lived, but do not believe that humans were any different at that time than they are now. I learned about cavemen and stuff like that in one of my classes and I thought it sounded like a load of crap.
