So doing nothing prevents terrorism??? I know for a fact, as everyone else should know, this this is a proven item of false reasoning.
The terrorists were there beforehand with the will to attack free societies, including the US. They will be there now. They will be there and recruited in the future, whether we have a strong and decicive leader in the oval office that takes action, or a passive one that does nothing. Terrorists cannot be reasoned with, negotiated with, or appeased by anything except the eradication of free societies. None of these options are acceptable at all.

Terrorists are criminals. They have no nation to attack, no stronghold. They are like drug dealers, murderers and slavers. They will be defeated, one by one, through intelligence and law enforcement efforts, just as all criminals are. There will never be a day when every terrorist is defeated, just as there will never be a day when every murderer or drug dealer is defeated, but perhaps there are ways to make terrorism less attractive to the disenfranchised.

I would say that Al Quaida offering the men of the families large sums of money to become a terrorist probably has something to do with it! Gee if you were broke, your family was starving, and a colossal *** offered you a lot of money and security for your family would you oblige???

Yes. We invaded a sovereign country that had not attacked us. We killed well over 100,000 innocent civilians. How would you feel if you saw your parents killed by the United States? Would you be more likely to become a terrorist? Yes, you would.
