have you always believed, or did something happen to make you believe?

I was a doubter, until a near death experience- I was crossing a street, and a pick up came barreling right at me, out of nowhere, it seemed. Just as suddenly, something I couldn't see just pushed me out of the path of the truck.

It was like I was picked up and just thrown several feet, out of the way of the speeding truck. If that wasn't someone trying to tell me something, I don't know what is.

You had a good expirience to believed in God, but I wanna go a little further. What do you think when you see toward the sky, either day or night? When you see a pregnant woman? A baby's birth? The hand of God is where ever you take a look, in the wind, in the rain, in the sea, in the trees, etc, He's every where. Don't you think that the most beatiful things in life are for free? So those ones are the ones created by God. Many years ago my cousing in 2nd degree commited suicide by jumping from a bridge. My aunt, my mom's aunt, cried a lot his decease and was worry because she said that my cousin never regreted about his sins and she thought my cousin's soul wasn't in a good place. After a sevearl months my aunt went to bed and prayed for my cousin's soul, then in a dream she heard a person who was talking to her asking why she was so sad; when she stated it was because my cousin's suicide and in the way that it happened the voice told her to calm down and told her to don't worry because between the briedge and the hard road bellow there He was. My aunt told us that the next morning when she woke up she was feeling so relaxed, like if somebody took off a heavy weight from on top of her and that she understood that God gave to my cousing the very good last chance and he accepted. Only God has the power to read what's in your heart, so He gave resting to my cousing and to my aunt.

You have a 2nd chance to spread out your expirience with many, because if from those many 1 listens, you'd be doing your part. God bless you and keep your faith.

I believe because I choose to. I was raised in the church. I enjoy the church and what it stands for. I would love to go on a missions trip one of these days and if I am meant to go on one then I will go. There was a few years of my life when I just didn't give a crap, didnt care of my life, family nothing. I didn't even want to exist anymore. Then my husband was sent out of town for work and I decided to give it another try. That night on my way home from work I was in a head on collision on the highway, struck by a drunk driver. I thoroughly believe had I not rededicated my life then the outcome could of been much worse. Something tragic will often make a person consider the what if's. We can not logically go on our entire life wondering what if. I would rather live as a believer and die to realize it was not true, than to live as a non believer and die to find out it was true.

I was drowning once at the lake , and felt the most indescribable peace ever felt as my life memory flashed before my eyes at milisecond speeds,..I had a feeling like someone was there holding me and telling me everything will be allright,to not be afraid.

Other previous time when I was a dissbeliever and a drug abuser I cried out to God from the depths of my heart, that if he existed to please show me a sign anytime soon or in my dreams,..and he did not just by the drowning incident but once I was strolling along in the forest and had a thought about God and the sign and he showed me through his nature.
GOD BLESS & keep the Faith

I was 40 years old before I became a believer. 8 Years ago I was in a place in my life, very near the end I believe, I had nowhere else to turn. God saved me and healed me the moment I came to Jesus Christ. He gave me a whole new life in Him.

We are worth a Son to God.

I have been in many life altering places and situations. I believe God was with me at all times. There were things I thought "no way will I ever get out of this"!! But every time I did! Therefore, I believe God had me to go through those things to open my eyes to how much He really does love me and has me here for a reason. None of us are here by accident. God has many of us to go through things to make us wiser about future decisions we will have to make according to His purpose!

Wow! What an awesome testimony!

I've always known in my heart and soul that God is there. Beside each and everyone of us in only a way He can understand. At times I have felt His presence and I see signs of His work in creation.

Have a great day and glad you're here to ask questions!!!

God bless Neimad!!! You've been saved by an angel!!! God has some sorta cool plan 4 u, brother.

=P =D

I haven't doubted Christ yet, simply cause I don't see any reason to. Nothing that scientists have discovered can prove that god isn't real. The whole evolution thing: If u go back far enough, god comes in. Ex:

Scientist: we came from sea worms

me: where did they come from?

me: where did that come from?

Scientist: the stuff that made 'the big bang'

me: where did THAT come from?!

Scientist: um... um...

me: god huh?

Scientist: I guess...

me: (laugh so hard I can't breathe and pass out for a second)

Scientist: (cries)

God iz real man, He saved ur butt and ur soul. =P =D

I have always believed in God. And there is no better feeling. People are going to mock you over this question! They are non-believers and will try to bring you down on your own faith, it's just the devil working against you. You know what you felt and it's wonderful. God works in so many ways
God bless you

You are very lucky. Sometimes people see God only after getting hit by a truck.

I would like to see him before I get hit by anything.

Well I believe because I do. I believe because if not, what do I believe in? What would I live for then.
Its not easy to live on faith, its definitely harder without faith though.
