Try the following : do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read fitness magazines, like Shape and Fitness for motivation and tips.

Good luck and stick at it.

Embrace your woman-hood thats what sets us apart from the guys and they love it we are suppose to have it from childbirth thats the way we were made for a reason I know sometimes we all wish why can I be slimmer prettier smarter richer la la la but how often do we ask why can I be nicer or a better person.

Best wishes, take care

"Saddle Bags"

1. Horse back riding - zaps those saddle bags!
2. On BOSU ball Sit on ball like your 1/2 sitting on a horse. Start with right leg shin parallel to wall in front of you and left leg hanging over BOSU ... Then in small movements, slowly lift left leg up and down. For a deeper exercise, straighten left leg and lift up and down . Do same exercise/ reps on other leg (just reverse everything).

3. If you don't' have a BOSU ball ... then you can do this on the floor. Legs in same position, remember, small movements.

Do aerobic exercises and exercises that focus on that area. I like exercises with the big ball. It's supposed to be good for also taking some of the pressure off the areas and adding resistence to enhance your workout. They even have workout videos that go along with it. Good luck--it's not easy but maybe that'll help.

LEG LIFTS ARE WONDERFUL FOR THIS. LIE ON YOUR SIDE AND LIFT. YOU CAN CHANGE IT UP TOO. BRING KNEE TO CHEST EXTEND LEG AND LIFT. IT'S NOT MAGIC BUT YOU WILL SEE A CHANGE IN A FEW WEEKS IF YOU DO THIS EVERY NIGHT.
