Nothing to be worried about. You'll taste blood for a few days, but you'll feel fine after (at most) three days.

It's really not that bad.

I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled out in one dentist appointment and was out with friends that night! Lol It just depends on how pain tolerant you are really,I can take pain quite well so it didnt affect me much! It hurt a little and was still numb when I went out but otherwise you have nothing to worry about! Just dont drink anything hot after you've had the treatment.. you wont feel it scorching your mouth as it'll be numb! Good luck x

Well I got 16 teeth pull on same day and went to work two days later with false ones in. Wisdom teeth are floating teeth so they don't have much of a root and they are alot easier to pull than regular teeth. Be strong, get up do things ,probably the best thing for you is to get up next day go to work and forget about the pain or discomfort you are in. Because hunny if your afraid of a few little teeth then don't have kids!!!!!!!!!!............Flo

Well, if you want the time off to enjoy yourself, go for it. But a wisdom tooth extraction these days is no big deal. Most oral surgeons will put you to sleep for the procedure, which takes all of fifteen minutes, and the rest of the time you spend will be to come safely out of the anesthesia before they let someone take you home. They will give you something for pain, and you should use icepacks on your face to minimize swelling, for twenty minutes every hour for eight hours after surgery. As I had all four of mine removed in one morning....I stayed home that day. Went back to work the next day....truly, not a big deal.

my bottom i didn't work for 3 weeks. but the top I literally had the tooth taken out and went back to work. I went on my lunch break. Of course, I was loopy on the meds but I was there. As long as your teeth aren't impacted (under bone) and fully erupted, you should be just fine. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt a bit if they're not impacted.

Depends on what your job is,if you have to be on the phone all day with customers you should take like 3 days to a week, depends on how you feel every person is different,if you have an office job that doesn't require to talk much, you can take a day or 2,again,depends on how you feel and what your doctor tells you.

My youngest daughter just had them pulled. She had it done on a Thursday and was back in school on Tuesday with minimal discomfort.
When my oldest had it done she was out of school for a week.
I think it depends on the individual and if the teeth are impacted or easily removed.

Um...I was still in school when i got my wisdom teeth out, but i just took the day off. it's not that bad. face is a little swollen, and it's a ***** to clean out your gums. i had great pain killers though, so it was great. you'll dribble ice cream or anything you try to eat for the first day cuz of the numbing agents, but it's more commical then anything.
i promise it isn't that bad!
