How many people do you think that are not saved by the blood of Jesus will be left behind and will stand here in confusion and dismay and the fact that it was all true? Will they then start to live right? Will they give their lives to God? Or will the disbelief continue? God says that only few will enter the gates of Heaven during the rapture.... ummmm...Just a thought?

Why ask us, ask God. He is the Great Teacher, not man. Religion was created by man and has been the cause of much suffering both in the past and present. Religion dictates that "this is the only way" which closes the mind to further learning. Do you really believe that one religion can cover the vastness of a full understanding of God? Faith will save you, not religion. Through prayer and listening will you receive teaching. This is faith, and prayer is common to all religions. Peace is the test of the truth. Have patience for the answers, a first grader cannot understand physics. Let God reveal his true self to you as you are capable of understanding, not as man interprets Him. Your continuing faith is the key to heaven.

Lady, I've got news for you. I'm already that confused about things.

But the interpretation of the Bible may be a little off. In the middle ages the Bible went through a lot, and I mean a lot of edits. And one of the main reasons for all of the changes was essentially to keep poor people from killing rich people.

I mean, if your all poor and stuff then you get to go to heaven. Don't pay attention to the rich folks. We have less of a chance of getting to heaven than a camel passing through the eye of a needle...or something. Hey don't kill us, relax, put down that pitchfork and axe...did you know, your going to heaven when you die and that will be so, uh - cool! That's it, go back to your farms.

TODAY. We are still reading from that book used by darkage popes to control riff-raff and we're trying to apply it to how we live today. It fits about as well as a rusty suit of armor.

some will turn to GOD while others will continue to hate HIM. GOD did say only a few will enter the gate but HE wasn't just talking about the rapture. HE was talking about all mankind. look at all the GOD haters here you can see how that is true

ROFLMAO
NO!

Darby.
Rapture 1830 was formulated

The story goes that a woman was sick and delirious, Darby was at her bed side, she rambled and WA la the Rapture doctrine is formed. Spread like wild fire.

Don't you believe it!

There is a time at the END when Christ returns to earth the set up his kingdom that the faithful will be transfigured and rise to meet him and descend back to earth with him.
BUT the rapture says you will fly away from the anti-Christ with Christ to heaven. BS!!!!
We are here to be tested

Ezek 13
20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly , and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly .
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

The Bible teaches that anyone who willingly rejected the Gospel prior to the Rapture will not be saved during the Tribulation. This is one of several issues I take with the authors of the "Left Behind" series.

This is supported by 2 Thes. 2:9-12:

9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Peace.

When he said that only a few will enter, who, may I ask, was he talking to? And when?

And, by the way, where does it say "the gates of heaven?"

One more thing.... where's your scriptural evidence for this "rapture?"

As an unsaved non believer the question is moot . If you look to revelations John has actually given an exact number you will have to do some multiplication though .

You mean, the way Christians have stood around in disbelief for 2000 years, wondering why the end has never come, even though it's been prophecised a dozen times?

This will never happen. Do not wallow inn false hope, just follow the true teachings of jesus everyday: Tolerance, Acceptance, and Love.

"By oneself is evil done; by oneself is one defiled. By oneself is evil left undone; by oneself is one made pure. Purity and impurity depended on oneself; no one can purify another"
