Well, sorry to hear about loosing your job and having to move out. But your situations is nothing to be alarmed about. LOTS of ppl go through that, at least you have solid friends who come to your aid when life gets rough, be thankful for that. In most cases, even friends turn their back, so you're blessed with great friends.
As for the job, start looking again, go to sites like monster.com or dice.com or careerbuilder.com, you can even go see a recruiter who can help you find a job based on your skill set. If you don't have any marketable skills, go to school. You can pretty much get a degree in anything now in uder 18 mos. Consider being a radiologist, or a dental assistant, the pay is great.

I'm sorry for your string of bad luck. Start new. Go out and find a new job to get your income coming in again. Think positively. You have a good friend who you can stay with until you can get a new place of your own. Take care of yourself. It's easy to not eat or care for you when you are down. Don't let that happen. Watch a funny movie, take a bubble bath, talk with your friends and work hard at getting back on your feet. I'm doing it too and it's been hard...still is hard and some days are so bad but you can do it and so can I. Best of luck!

Take a deep breath and go again! Don't Quit!
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road your trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and its turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When they might have won, had they stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victors cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when your hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit!

Are you a believer in God. Give God some of your time & he will give you some of his time. Never let the devil get the best of you. Keep your chin up with a smile no matter what. Go around friends that have something in life - and that will help you gain a better life. Do not hang out with anyone that don't have anything because that will keep you depressed and bring you down. REMEMBER: Always put God first in your life & you will notice a difference. What ever you do DON'T GIVE UP!

Email me or message me on yahoo messenger if you want to communicate further.
But ultimately it's going to be a matter of you getting a new job and getting back on your feet.
I know it feels pretty lousy right now and you're down in the dumps. It happens to the best of us. In fact, depression tends to happen more to the intelligent people.
Must be why I'm so depressed right now, huh ... pretty intelligent of me!
Anyway, you do get over it with time - and with a little help from your friends.
The only people who don't get over depression are the ones who suicide.
That's sort of dumb cos really you do get over depression, even if it feels like you will never be right ever again. You can beat it and get to the good side of life and you can be happy. I know cos I've been there, done that, am back in the rut again but will climb back out.
It is dumb to suicide cos depression is transient. Suicide is more permanent.
Just get out there and keep pushing back at life and working towards where you want to be. You'll get there!

Many people have to go thru this sort of situation in their life...Would you not be better served if you spent some time thinking of how you can get back on your feet? Rather than founder in how things are not going your way? Thereby, sinking lower and lower into self pity? You have to be thinking negative thoughts to become depressed.. they don't solve anything for you. Further, it takes more energy and does nothing to remove you from your present situation.

Stop "messing up your life", then. You are the only one who can do anything about this. Go get another job and pull yourself up.
