This ought to be interesting...
Good question. It really gets to the heart of whether Christians are actually prepared to practice the tolerance they preach.

Good question!
If a Satanist could be on friendly terms with me, I would certainly be able to do the same. I've had really good conversations with people whose beliefs were totally opposed to mine, but we respected each other.
I haven't actually spoken to a Satanist, but I believe I could speak to a Satanist respectfully. It means I'd respect them as a person, not respect them for being a Satanist. I would be polite.

I respect everyones beliefs however I wont associate with a satanist because we dont have anything in common, and it goes against my beliefs. I would still treat them nicely because I want and expect the same in return. What goes around comes around.

It is funny that someone who will blatently call themselves a satanist will often be shunned yet most devout christians display hateful attitudes. For instance Racism. The bible says that all men were created equal, God is a God of love, God is impartial yet very few churches are united. I believe a true christian would try to help the satanist to see the light. Jesus never hesitated to save possessed ones or banish them. I would be cautious though when dealing with someone who is a satanist due to the types of rituals and sacrifices they practice. Limit conversations and encourage.

I wonder if the satanist would respect my Christian beliefs and I wonder if they would associate with me. And I DO believe their belief system (which would be pure evil as they are worshipping Belezebub) would deter me from being social with said person.

Of course I would respect them and of course I would associate with them. I don't judge people based on their belief systems. In addition to that it can be very boring hanging around people who believe the same thing as yourself, doesn't make for very interesting conversation. I think we can all learn from each other, it is from learning from each other that we promote tolerance and understanding.

No respect for the wickedness of satan worshipers!!. Remember, satan has ONLY the power that God gave him. he is an evil trickster!. As far as associating with them, If God cast him from Heaven for being corrupt, I would cast his followers from my life as well. As for being friendly with them. I would want to know why they would worship an evil angel instead of the Power that created him to begin with. Do they not realize that satan loses in the end? That the Creator will destroy him? his followers are blinded fools that have been mislead by his temptations. As for me I will follow the Lord, God.

What is a satanist? Is there a church? I think people who are Satanists are really just rebeling against being controlled and manipulated by their parents religion.

I respect all beliefs or non-beliefs. Mother Teresa says we should help people of all faiths be the best they can. I would not hold it against them or try to change them. Belief is a personal choice.
If a christian will follow what Jesus taught they know this. Jesus walked with people different from him, and they were still his friends. He didn't judge anyone.

Evetryone has the God given right to choose what they want to belive. i do respect that but would share that Jesus died for our sins if we ask. As to would I associate with them, If I had a chance to share with them the Love of god and the hope that He gives. As a friend I do not know being friendly yes Icould do that as that is what God wants us to do. how can we as chritians convert anyone if we are cold hearted and judgemental? We are to share the love and hope of salvation to a better life not judge. that is Gods job and I wont step on his toes for anyone.

I have known some, or at least some that practice spells, etc.. I can be social to them, but not be close friends with them, as we aren't to be living with them. They are in the world as I am. I am kind to them, and hopefully they would see Jesus in my life. But they would know that I don't like what they are doing.
I'd respect them, and treat them fairly. They would just know that I don't believe that way, and I'd be happy to share why.
