I wonder which it is. I personally have always has knowledge of religion because my family went to church on sundays but most of the teachings were never really followed. I have only developed a personal relationship with Christ in the past 3 years and began to utilize my faith in my life. With each passing day I want to spread the message that has brought me the greatest joy in my life. I waited til I was 38 how bout you?

The number of people that have faith in a supreme being is increasing as more and more proof is revealed that there is life after death. Religion is mans way of interpreting faith. True faith is not a religion, but an understanding that through prayer, which is common to all religions, learning can occur. Those who have closed their minds to learning think they know it all, or that their way is the only way. This is the failure of religion and the cause of much suffering, both past and present. Seek your answers from the source, the Great Teacher I call God, not from man. Peace is the test of the truth. Patience is necessary, a first grader cannot understand physics. Answer this question since I answered yours; Are you a student, or do you know it all already? I wish you the best in your search for the truth.

In 1945, 40% of Canadians and 40% of Americans went to a Christian church on a regular basis.

In 2002, 20% of Canadians and 40% of Americans went to a Christian church on a regular basis.

According to the scientific group doing the study, they concluded, based on these numbers, that Canadians, on the whole, were better educated than Americans. You might not agree with this conclusion but the fact that at present, there is a 20% drop in Christian church attendance in Canada, would indicated the number of Christians is decreasing. This does make me wonder what the numbers are for the rest of the world.

It is a fact that everything that exists, will one day cease to exist. This means that the world will evolve, in technology, in ethics and in religions. I believe religions will change and progress, but Christianity will stay until we become more enlightened as a civilisation.
