Atonement day is not the festive of the new year. That is "Rosh Hashanah"... "Yom Kippur" (Atonement day) is a totally different thing.

And no, Jesus did not born on Yom Kippur, as far as I know.

I don't recall hearing an actual date of birth, rather we celebrate his birthday on Christmas.
