Where is a good place for someone who is shy and really not that outgoing to work at? I live in a smaller town so does anyone have any suggestions?

If you are creative enough, why dont you get self employed? Like you can conjure up gr8 looking cards, craft pieces and then sell them at the local market.
You may also opt for baby -sitting kids, ahy people are known for their empathy, put this to use here.
There are many other ways, just be confident in yr abilities and do a thorough soul-searching on yr talents.Make the best use of them,somethi that will give you self-worth and self satisfaction.
Please, just dont think you are not outgoing and all such negative vibes, work does not mean the busy streets of bubbling boardrooms.
Just do yr search and keep faith in yrself

Depends on what kind of work you want, your skills, and how much your willing to get paid. I would recommend overcoming your shyness. Begin with small steps, like asking someone a question (i,e, go to wally world and as the door greeter where the restroom is). Overcoming shyness will only help you in any career you might choose. If you live in Michigan move cause their is no work here shy or not.Medical billing & records if you know computers you can work at home it don't take long to learn.

A daycare where you can just spend yor time with children and not a lot of time around older people.
