I feel like my 25 year old boyfriend is stuck with the mind of a 2 year old? He like sugar and candy, and leaves stuff on the floor and wont do something unless I tell him to do it, like 5 times? What's up?

Perhaps he got away with too much when he was a child, and as long as you continue to let him get away with things, the more he will try to do it.

What happens if the things you tell him to do… don’t get done?
Will he suffer as much as you?… Let him suffer !!!
If he drops stuff on the floor and doesn’t pick it up… Leave it there…
Hopefully, he will be the one who trips over it !!!

Are you his slave?… Are you in the relationship ‘to be used’?
Let him use you… He will !!!

Make him face the consequences of his childishness and laziness.
You may suffer a bit as well, but eventually, he will be forced to grow up and to accept responsibility for the way he is.

Remind him that you are his partner, and not his mother or slave.
Tell him that if he wants to keep you as a partner… he had best start acting his age !!!

Try what I use on my 2 yr old daycare kids - logical consequences : you leave stuff on the floor, you don't get fed til you pick it up. You don't behave reasonably for your age, you pay the price. Tell him one time, with a warning and a time frame - and make sure it is something you CAN follow thru on - then follow thru if he doesn't behave life a mature adult!! He is not a child, and you shouldn't cater to him as though he is.. Send him back to him mommy - and that's not you!!!

However, that is what is so attractive in the firat place, but if u care..Take him as he is...Maybe u will rub off on him or the other way around, which isnt so bad. U wont be so uptight and naggy anymore...roght?

I'm a 21 year old female, and I'm like that. My bf is, too :P
If you nag, they will block you out. Ask him nicely, and if he doesnt do it, refuse to do anything for him or do something taht annoys him

All men are like children. It is like having one more to your family. It is a testicular thing. And a their mom didn't help either.
