I was a kid from Brooklyn joined USMC when I was 17

Big Red 1 .. Semper Fi !!

Back From Iraq..alive. I am sooo tired of watching Muslim men beat their wives in the street without pity! Those poor women.

Two times I had to be restrained from interveneing by my Squad Leader.

We saw while on patrol a young woman stoned to death in a pit
tied to a stake! And we couldn't do a thing!

And now I am back home listening to all the far Left Wing Bleeding Heart ACLU Adoring Liberals who want to "Hug a Misunderstood Muslim Homicide Bomber"... as their answer to terror?

Maybe I was better off in Iraq?

Why are they so Anti-American. Can't they see we are at war and rally around us instead attacking us.

They will be no votes for Hillary from the USMC, USN, US ARMY or USAF personnel thats for sure. Democrats have no friends among the military.

These Liberals don't how much damage thet are doing to our efforts overseas.

Never met a Liberal Marine and never will.

With all due respect MsPeaches...because a culture with no matter what religion, that endorses hulking, in this case Muslim men to beat their women mercilessly in the dust, is wrong! To tie young women to stakes and stone them to death is wrong Madame.

And you as American should feel that way, especially if your son, if he is indeed a Marine or will be one..

Because there just ain't no Liberals
in the United SatesMarines.

Forteen months of my says Yes we do have a moral Right, and you as the mother of a future Marine should at least try to understand this.

From an Army wife to you....thanks for all that you're doing. My hubby has been over there 3 times, one of those Desert Storm.

The news doesn't show what's really going on over there, so the American people don't see it. Some of them don't even care. In fact, most of them actually believe it's about oil and not giving a country freedom. When my hubby was over there, the Iraqi people loved the soldiers. They were so glad they were there. I'm sure not much has changed. American people think that the insurgents outnumber the Iraqis who want freedom. They honestly have no idea. You're right, Hillary won't get our vote. She's even more incapable than Billy boy was.

Thanks for a good post. Glad you're home safe.

HooAh!!

Friend...I am having doubts about you as a Marine. Your second sentance was "Big Red 1...Semper Fi". Even though it is comman knowledge among those in the military that the Big Red One(not 1) is an Army unit, the 1st Infantry Division.

Hard to believe that you've never met a liberal Marine. I am not one, but I know some Marines that have liberal views. Most Marines I know actually could care less about politics, they just want to fight.

Also, I find it hard to believe that you saw a young woman getting stoned to death on the side of the road. I haven't been to Iraq, but Marines in my unit have, and if the abuse goes on, Muslims prefer to do it away from the eyes of US servicemen.

I am a former 1st Force Recon Marine that has seen the same things that you have seen. ( In the Regan years )The Marine Corps is a tight brotherhood and can get the job done if allowed to. Based on some of the answers that I am reading from your question, some of these people have never seen combat or been in the military. These are the same people that don't want you around unless there is danger and need to run behind something to save their own *** !
One Shot, One Kill Brother !! Semper Fi !!!!

Yes I do think liberals are insane! My husband and I are both former US Army MP's. I have one of my brothers on his was back to Iraq for the 4th time, my heart goes out to you. I am sure it was very hard for you to see and watch the things you saw and not do anything to help. But I do thank you from the bottom of my heart for serving this Great Nation. SIMPER FI! I don't understand how anyone can say this is not a just war. We are fighting to keep our country safe to stop the scum who caused 9/11/01 so it can't happen again and to help Iraq to be free, for women to have rights and not be a Muslim whipping post, so children can go to school. WE ARE NOT FIGHTING FOR OIL, ITS FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY and HUMAN RIGHTS

Hey now not all liberals are like that! lol. I basically a liberal, HOWEVER, my country comes second only to my family. Which brings me to my next point, you are absolutely right!
My husband just returned from his 2nd tour in Iraq. It ticks me off to no end to read all these Iraqi war bashers on here. I will always support my US military, and my government, and I completely support the Invasion of Iraq. I could careless if he had WMD or not. So just keep in mind only the extremists and the misinformed who can't get their rear ends out of infront of the TV to make a difference, feel this way. But you do have the support of this Liberal, completely. Good luck~

First may I say "Thank you,and may God Bless You!" I am a Navy vet. All the politicians say we support our troops. Sometimes it is all lip service. There should be some sort of test that narrows out the B.S. from the truth.

As far as liberals being insane? Maybe not, just visually impaired.

first off people call me a "liberal" but i'm not like most of them, if any, i think if someone messes with this country we should teach them a lesson. so when i hear about people who dont support our troops i think of this:
"When you men get home and face an anti-war protester, look him in the eyes and shake his hand. Then, wink at his girlfriend, because she knows she's dating a pussy."
- Attributed to General Tommy Franks
Also Attributed to US Marine Major General James Mattis as he addressed
the Marines of 1st Marine Division prior to commencement of
combat operations in support of Iraqi Freedom.

i have had lots of family in the Corps and i dont plan break that tradition or my support. thanks for your service.

Thank you B'klyn Barracuda for everything you've done! The libs just want to dis the pres. -they believe we're only in Iraq for the oil. Everyone is sick of the war and wished it were over (yes--even the Reps!) but we know we can't cut and run. I hope you (and any of your military buds) can come to yahoo and enlighten us on how Iraquis really feel and what is really going on there!

Welcome Home!

Thank you for serving. Thank you for letting the world know what is really happening in Iraq. To bad more people do not tell everyone what is happening over there.
The liberals know what they are doing because they did it to those of us who served in Nam!

I am not a liberal and I don't think they are insane just a little misguided. They need help.

As far as the war in Iraq, I don believe in it, my son is also a Marine and he will be going to Iraq in Feb, something I am not looking forward to but that is his job and he is very proud of that fact, he loves the Marines. The Iraqi people have there own cultural and values, yes they are not the same as ours but they have had them for over 4000 years, who are we to dictate to them what is right and what is wrong, because that is how we see it. What if the tables were reversed and another country was telling us how we should live our lives and how we should treat our women and childern would you be ready for that change?
These are just my opinions, I don't think any country has the right to tell another countyr how they should or should not live.
