Im with you- Im thinking bread. I feed bread to the birds all the time when it starts to go stale. I HATE stale bread- it ruins a great sandwhich so i always buy a new one after 4 or 5 days. Bread yes- alot thrown away when the birds can have it. I would also say probably- eggs. Some parts of the years I use them alot! But come winter- I want a few for my bacon and the rest just go to waste.

I agree - it's probably bread. Especially with single people likr myself. I have to buy a whole loaf to make a sandwich. Then it's gone stale before I get half way through the loaf. Sometimes when I'm organised though, I freeze half, so there should be no need to waste it really.

In my house, it's ALWAYS the vegetables which spoil...things that go quickly...lettuce, beans, onions...:)
For all those who said bread goes bad fast in your house, my advice is to always put it in the fridge after the first use. Or if you know you're not gonna use it for some time, deep freeze it...it'll last for a couple of months :)

Well, it isn't bought but I'd say sperm. Thiank of all the pimply-faced teen wankers spilling their seeds dreaming of thoroughly horrid-looking females like Britney. And the reason i call it "food" is because it was certainly a food group for my ex-wife.

My guess would be milk too, however, at my house it is celery. I buy it as a snack with peanut butter but I always forget I have it and then it is wasted.

I have to agree with the one who said parsley. Many restaurants put it on plates just for the look, and it always gets thrown away.

Milk - and the other answerers are right, it does spoil quickly and must be used right away for ultimate freshness!!

I would have to say lettuce because it goes bad quickly. I'm always throwing away a slimy black head of lettuce! YUCK!
