Alright...I found out my ex (who is 23) is writing innappropiate emails on MySpace to a few 16 year old girls. They are all about it. Thing is, my ex is a creeeeeep (why do you think I left him?) and I fear for these girls and them getting mixed up with him. What can I do to protect these girls? Or should I let it be? I really am scared for these girls, and disgusted my ex cannot find anyone his own age...Or is there a way I can find out who their parents are and let them know? I already contacted MySpace about it but they have yet to get back to me...

I personally would go straight to the police. They can monitor his behavior, and even catch him in the act! If he goes to meet a cop whom he believes is 16, he'll be arrested.
I applaud you for noticing this and wanting to do something about it!

Call your local police department and let and them know what you know. The will either take care of it, or they will lead you in the right direction. You will need his log name , and the girls log names, that way they can go on-line and speak with the girls directly. You can also check the girls myspace to see if they were immature enough to put their phone number on it or address, if so there's your ticket to their parents. You can also call your local department of social services and they may be able to help because it is a type of abuse to a child. I hope this helps, and good luck...

If you left this guy, you have NO business snooping around his life now! That having been said, what he is doing is smarmy for sure, but hardly against the law i thinbk, especially if the STUPID young girls are writing trash to him because they haven't been brought up in the right way. PARENTS are the No. 1 problem in America, and any western country where laissez-faire is the rule!

I would contact the girls parents let them know and call myspace every single day til they do what they promise... You have to stay on them to get anything done...!Good Luck!!!

Get in touch with the girls if you can, but don't expect them to believe you about him. Usually people will not realize things until they find out on their own.
BTW - what's your ex's name? I think we may have a connection...

Keep trying to contact MySpace. He needs to be reported about this. You know how he is, so I know you wouldn't want this to haunt you if something happened to one of those girls. Keep reporting him.

18 is legal age but 16 is borderline. Call the local DA and see what they want to do about it. I have a daughter and would want her to be protected from older guys.
