Me and this guy have been hooking up for a few months now, but just recently I found out he has a girlfriend still. They are almost done and its obvious that they are, but at the same time, they aren't done.
I try to ignore him and just get over it, but I can't! What we have is too intense!! I can't resist him. We really have such amazing chemistry and get along so well.
what do I do?!?!? I can't keep doing this but I can't help myself when we are together.

I went through the EXACT same thing a few years ago. He kept promising he would end it with her and just never did. I kept feeling worse and worse about myself because I felt like I was a secret and like I was his "call girl" even though he would tell me he loved me. It got to the point where I told him he had one more chance to tell her. I knew I couldn't stop seeing him because I was addicted to him and just like you're saying- it was so intense! I had tried to break up with him but I could never follow through because I needed him. So I knew the only way to break it off for real was if I told her myself. After I told him he had that one more chance and he came back and didn't break it off with her, I called her myself. I was crying and so upset because I was sure he would hate me and never speak to me again, but I was in complete shock when he thanked me! He said he wasn't able to do it himself and it showed I had self-respect and he chose me! (Of course it didn't last, but that's another story...) Good luck...

Think about waht he will do to you when you are " almost done". Will he try to work it out or will he find someone else on the side? How honest will he be with you? How honest has he been with you?

Whoa! I don't know what to tell you that you probably don't already know. He might just do the same to you. Either you break it off or face heart break down the road. Good Luck...It's hard.

quit being "the other girl" and quit getting with other girls b/fs would you want it to happen to you? i dont think so, and on a personal level "hook-ups" are lame and usually only slutty/skanky girls do it but if you are one of those (and im not implying that you are) dont get offended by it
ADD TO ANSWER: If hes cheating on his g/f to see you then he will more than likely cheat on you to see another girl

You have to hold back give him your number and tell him you are available when he is!!! You have to think how she feels and if it were you in her shoes. If he cares for you as much as he says he does then he will respect your decision and do what he needs to first.

sounds like he wants his cake and eat it too. i wouldn't settle for being #2 girlfriend, he's have to choose, but he's already lied to you so how do you know you can trust him anyway?
