I have been divorced now for 2 yrs. and I am still close friends with my ex. I have had relationships since the divorce, but lately I have had dreams of us getting back together. I know this won't happen. I have not thought of her like that in a long time. I just wonder do I still love her, or is it just that maybe I want what we had again, you know a meaningful relationship instead of my booty calls of late. What do you think?

It sounds like your intuitive self is telling you through your dreams that you need to find someone to have a meaningful relationship with, enough with the booty calls. I think on some level you already know that.
Your brain calls upon past experiences to show you what direction you should be taking in your life. Your ex-wife is showing up in your dreams as a symbol of what you should be looking for.
I'm sure the 2 of you will still be close, but move on and find someone meaningful.

I think you should stay away from the booty calls and move on for good. You both got divorced for a reason. Going for booty calls makes you lose sight of why you divorced in the first place. You are looking for that old feeling of stability or at least being in a permanent relationship. You need to stay away and move on. Maybe even get some counseling to help you move on. You might still love her but it doesn't necessarily mean you can still live with her if you got back together. Some people try to get back together after divorce and usually end up divorced again. Only you can know if your willing to give it a try. I say not a good idea. Good Luck.

Thats what it is probably. You do not want booty calls anymore. You want a strong, meaningful relationship, one like you once had with your ex. I do not think that dreaming about get back with her means that you want her back. Its more of a symbol about what you are ready for in a relationship.
I dont know why you broke up, but you broke up for a reason. Maybe its time to start looking for the next special one.

I think you truly MISS the relationship part the most. You miss the routine and the knowing and the companionship of one person. Your getting older and tired of one night stands and u want someone to share your life with like you had with your ex wife. Your in love with the idea of being in love! U miss having someone there for u- someone to hold u and comfort you- to love u and keep u warm and safe. You will find love again.

you're probably just lonely for a real relationship - i am good friends with my ex, but know there is no going back. try doing a relationship the right way with the right lady, instead of emotionless, cold booty calls.

I think you are just yearning something familiar. You know her and she knows you and when your together like that, its very comfortable. You probably still do love her, but hey, thats okay. I will always love my first true love even though I have an amazing relationship right now. So dont fret. Its just normal.

When you've been familiar with someone, and you maintain a friendship with them, sometimes those damn feelings get stirred up even after you break up. I wouldn't look too much into that. This too shall pass.

you could still be in love with her or maybe shes with someone and your jealouse if thats not it than tell her how u feel if she loves u still u both might be meant to be
