Well, let's see... if you ban Jesus Christ, then you must ban all mention of Christianity (since Christianity revolves 100% around Jesus Christ... can't take Christ out of Christianity without taking out Christianity).

And since you would now be showing preferential treatment to all other religions and non-beliefs, you must also ban all of Judaism, Islam, Wicca, Satanism, Occultism, Paganism, Buddhism, Shinto, pantheism, and every single other religion in existance.

Now, since you have effectively banned all religions from public life, you must now ban all non-religions from public life to prevent any sort of preferential treatment to non-believers over believers. That includes secularism, humanism, atheism, and agnosticism.

Now, since all of this is now banned... that means you are forbidden to speak of the Christian heritage of the United States, the Judaic heritage of Israel (oh wait... since Israel is a Judaic nation, the very mention of Israel must be banned as well), the Islamic heritage of the rest of the Middle East (once again, because Islam is now banned, you are now banned from even mentioning most Middle Eastern Nations), hence you are banned from mentioning anything about the Crusades and other important events during those eras.

And since Nazism was promoted under a two-faced, pseudo-Christian image, you are now banned from mentioning ANYTHING about the European aspect of WWII.

Since Russia held to a purely atheistic belief, you are now banned from making mention of the Cold War.

Since Islamic radicalists committed 9/11, *that* atrocity is now banned.

Since Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Roman, and Ancient Greek life revolved around their religious belief, study about those nations are now banned.

Since Japanese Imperialism had its roots in Shinto, you are now banned from mentioning the Western view of WWII.

Since everything about Native Americans revolves around their beliefs, you are forbidden to mention the first hundred years of America's existance.

Since Western Europe had the Norse and Druidic/Pagan beliefs, you are now forbidden to speak of pre-civilized Europe.

With all those gone, all that would be left would be the study of the last 100 years. Nice History class.

Study of Mythology is banned.

Study of a good portion of literature is banned (since much contains occult or other mythological or religious beliefs written in in some form or another), so Language Arts is out of the question.

Much of what we know of math came from the Greco-Roman area, from the Middle East, and from India (whose scholars were Hindu) study of math is now out of the question.

Forget Philosophy (which was little more than a byproduct of the beliefs and doctrines of the various Greek gods applied to common-day life at the time).

And tear down that gymnasium (whose roots are traced back to the Greeks, who competed in a gymnasium for the glory of their gods).

Oh, don't forget Evolution and Psychology, the posterchildren of the naturalistic and atheistic minds! They've got to go too, lest we show preferential treatment to the non-believers.

Tear down the statues of Themis and Libertas across the country, and ban the imagery of the Scales of Themis just as the image of the Cross has been banned. Tear down the Statue of Liberty, who is the Greek goddess Libertas, who sits in the harbor near New York. Ban the image of Justice, who is Themis, whose statue resides on every major courthouse in America.

Ban the fish that represents Christ's telling the disciples to be fishers of men... then ban the Darwin legged-fish who mockingly eats the Christian fish.

You want to get rid of one... then get rid of ALL. You cannot pick and choose who can stay or who can go simply because you don't like it.

You ban Jesus. I ban Darwin. Simple as that.

Why ban Jesus ? DO you not believe in something or someone anybody else don't believe in. I believe you should have freedom in what you believe, so if you do not believe in Jesus don't ban Him, why not ban the tooth fairy or Santa Clause while you at it. You can not tell me that you do not believe in a higher power. Jesus is the the son of God, the same God who hasgiven you life, put you on this earth, knowing you are asking this stupid question. No one said become a bible puncher but what do you believe in? Why take something away that gives you so much power and faith in this horrible life we are living ?
Maybe you need to speak to a pastor or priest to help you deal with this issue.

Not possible. The Love of Jesus Christ lives in us through the holy Spirit. (the comforter). So yes tear down the 10 commandments and remove the name of Jesus as much as is necessary...It would not make a difference. When you have a personal relationship with Christ a bumper sticker is nothing..

It doesn't matter to me what people say or think about Jesus or God being banned from school or public....

I still pray for my dinner if I am at a restaraunt.
I still leave gospel tracts and church invites for my server. (along with a very generous tip.)

I still encourage my children to pray for their meals at school.

However, I do not have my children talk to other kids at school about salvation or church. If they are asked about it, they can tell someone. But, I tell them not to bring it up unless it is brought up first. Not because they nor I are ashamed of our beliefs, but because I do not want them to be scorned for them.

I do not think think it should be banned. If they are not going to ban God-less beliefs that others have than why should my beliefs be banned???

Jesus and Christianity doesn't need to be banned from public school or public life. Extremist Christians just need to stop trying to get their religious beliefs taught in science classrooms and the 10 commandments put in public courtrooms (when they themselves can't even remember the commandments, or even the majority of the commandments).

Ever wonder why the world is screwed up? You tell your children,"you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal and love your neighbor as thyself.
Now we're asking our children why they have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates and themselves.
Funny how we believe what the media says and doubt what the Bible says.
And you wonder why the worlds going to Hell?
I think it has a great deal to do with, WE REAP WHAT WE SOW....

I think that is sut stupid. Like in school, they don't let you use the word "Christmas" like if you're having a Christmas concert, or Christmas break. You have to call it the "holiday break" or a "holiday concert" instead. Because they feel that's excluding the nonChristian kids. Well, DUH! Christmas is a CHRISTIAN HOLIDAY!!!! I wouldn't care if all the nonchristian kids wanted to have a day off. It's just be more days off. But seriously, it is just stupid, not being able to say "Christmas."

No! Why ban for the few that don't like/want it? I am fed up with the "few" getting what they want and the rights of the rest of us being ignored. God Bless America! God Bless you too. In God we trust. God that felt good!!!!!!
