In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We are in the countdown. It always has seemed to be around the corner, but nobody knows the date or time. The total destruction of Damascus is the signature of the beginning of the 7 year tribulation and the Devils rule on earth. All we can do is be ready and watch for the signs. After the seven years Jesus returns with his armies. Then we have a thousand years of true peace. It’s not the destruction of the earth that we should look for, but the rebirth and our saviors return.

It would take a lot for this world to end. I do not see it happening for a long time. Even if we used all of our nukes the world would still be floating around in space.

In the twinkle of the eye & when it's least expected. Try living each day as though it were your last & concentrate instead on how to best spread love and compassion. You'll not be caught off guard that way & you might just make a difference in many people's lives.

at the rate we are raping nature, id say about 200 more years.

for christian responses, i think its always easy to say. 2012 or 2010. everyone said it will end since 1666, 1777, 1999, 2000, 2001, 1997 and 1998. 100% failure rate

One has to wonder about the lives of people who want the world to end so badly. Are their lives SO miserable that they can hardly wait for the world to be bathed in fire, horror, and destruction?

Sheesh...
