They sell for over $300. I will invest up to $75 but $300 for a piece of ice is ridiculous for a 1 night party. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

Get a 10 lb block of ice from the grocery/liquor store.
Find a long drill bit (perhaps 3/8" by 12" long). Now, making sure you've cleaned *ALL* the oil off the drill bit, drill into the block. You can drill diagonally through a corner. You can go straight down from the top, and then go straight in from the side meeting the hole from the top so they connect. Have fun with it and get creative.
The ice will cost less than $2.00, the drill bit might be a little spendy...perhaps as much as $25.00 If you don't have a drill, you could pick up a cheap one for maybe another $25.00 (used, even less). So, for $52.00 you have all you need...the first time. Next time, it's only $2.00 for the ice again.

Holy crap...I'm going to have to do this, myself.
