Yes, he certainly is, because more people in the world believe in him. When you have 2200000000 christians working against you, they can think up tons of stuff between them to try to validate their beliefs. It's not that their god is much different than any other god, it's just that so many people believe in him, it makes it hard for us atheists to get anywhere.

Agnostics DO NOT believe there is a "god" or "satan" until it has been proven beyond doubt with scientific evidence. An agnostic does not form an opinion on the existence of a god until it has been proven. Thus Kats statement is incorrect.
Agnosticism is the philosophical view that the value of certain claims as truth—particularly theological claims regarding the existence of God, gods, or deities—are unknown, inherently unknowable, or incoherent and thus irrelevant to life. The term and the related agnostic were coined by Thomas Henry Huxley in 1869, and are also used to describe those who are unconvinced or noncommittal about the existence of deities as well as other matters of religion. The word agnostic comes from the Greek a (without) and gnosis (knowledge). Agnosticism is not to be confused with a view specifically opposing the doctrine of gnosis and Gnosticism—these are religious concepts that are not generally related to agnosticism.
Agnostics may claim that it is not possible to have absolute or certain spiritual knowledge or, alternatively, that while certainty may be possible, they personally have no such knowledge. Agnosticism in both cases involves some form of skepticism towards religious statements. Some claim that there is nothing distinctive in being an agnostic because even theists do not claim to know God exists, only to believe it, and many even agree there is room for doubt; and atheists in the broader sense do not claim to know there is no God, only not to believe in one.

I believe that belief in any supreme diety, from the christian god, the jewish god, the muslim god, the roman gods, the greek gods, and about 20,000 other religions that exist or have existed on this planet are equally as silly.
However- given the state of world affairs right now, it appears that the Christian and Muslim gods are going to war with each other, and a lot of we innocent athiests are going to get killed in the process.

so as that we've something to seem ahead to up in Heaven. No, yet heavily, if we HAD each thing we would not DO something. God supplies us proper health? ninety% people might want to be settee potatoes. God makes us immortal? lets be some distance to overpopulated. God makes everybody fantastically? properly then lets all might want to seem an analogous and we is probably not conscious of who everybody replaced into. you want the sturdy with the undesirable to structure you as someone. even if i'm no longer completely particular there's a God up there; it truly is how I view it.

the christian deity isn't inherently more troublesome to atheists than Allah, Zeus, Thor, Krishna, or the tooth fairy. However, for those of us living in the west, there are a lot more christians trying to whack us over the head with their god than there are muslims etc.
If you come to me talking about Jesus, then naturally I'll give you my thoughts on Jesus and not Buddha. That shouldn't be such a big surprise, should it?

God with a capital G is the one that is threatening our rights of separation of church and state in the US, and the right to be free FROM religion. If the capital G followers had their way, any non-Christian would be banned from the country.

If people feel the intense need to put a "G" in god and they think that this entity cares about something so trivial, then they are missing the whole point.

The difference between atheists and agnostics is that athiests do not believe in anything the agnostics believe that God or Satin is real but they do admit to a high power out there, so the agnostics believe in little "g" not "G". The atheists do not believe that there is a higher power nether "g" or "G".

Only insofar as they need to in order to prevent their children from having the big "G" shoved down their throats in public school. Nobody is seriously suggesting we should teach the history of Artemis in biology class and test students on the truth of that history... and nobody knocks on your door telling you that Zeus created you.

Because the majority of the populace put stock in the fairy tale of the biblegod. That makes it the greatest enemy of critical thinking and the biggest target. We'll be going after the nonsense perpetrated by the Wiccans and everyone else in due course, don't you worry....
