Start-> control panel -> Add Remove programs and click norton antivirus and uninstall. If that doesnt work, u have to delete it manually. Warning: if u uninstall, u have no virus protection unless u have another antivirus installed or planning to install. Norton sucks i kno, causes a lot of system drag. Mcafee has been best rated antivirus software. Laterz.

Goto Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs
It takes some time to populate the list of installed softwares. Then, select Norton Antivirus form the list and Remove.
There another way,,
Goto START-> All Programs -> Norton Antivirus-> and there you find another link to uninstall.
