watch him. does he show it? watch what he does and how he treats his busniness and his mother. that will show how he treats you if you ever become his wife. People will tell you anything.

You don't, there's no way to tell. Some people use the "I love you" to get what they want or because they think they are supposed to say it. Some people really mean it. Actions speak louder than words, so pay attention! You'll know by his actions if he really meant it or if there was a different reason for the words.

Ask him why he loves you and what he love about you. You have to test his love to see if it is true. It depends on how he treats you. Is it just sex (if any) or does he really have an interest in how you feel and making you happy.
Does he call you every night to tell you sweet dreams, or wake up and call you first thing. Asking you is there anything you need, or what he can do to make the relationship succeed?

Does he look sincere when he says it?
Does he always try to go out of the way to help you?
Is he supportive when you are down/need to talk etc.
does he make it a point not to say or do or make you do things he knows u dont like?
does he do things he knows you like just to see you happy?
Is he always concerned about your health and safety?
Does he need you for emotional support and for company?
Does he tell you things he doesnt tell others?
Does he call you when he needs to talk or ask your advice/opinion when he's taking decisions?
Do you think you are irreplaceable to him? that is he depends on you for things he cant depend on others for?
if you answered yes to the above questions, chances are he does mean it. i'm not saying its a surefire way, but it definitely makes the possibility higher.

Actions speak louder than words. Anyone can say I love you but not everyone means it. You should be able to tell by the way he treats you. If he treats you like you're his whole world then he loves you.

Does he look deep into your eyes the whole time while telling you? You can tell that a man is lying when he doesn't look at you when he's talking about something truthful.
And the next best thing is his body language. I think you know him better than we do

Do you trust him?That is ALL it boils down to sweetie!Ask him the same question.If he can give you a positive answer without pausing or having to think about it,then you will know if he is telling the truth.Love comes with trust.If there is no trust,then there is no love.ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!
