Of course. People need people. They want to be with someone and breaking up means they are a failure, even when it isn't their fault. So it is easier to stay than to admit failure.

Simple. Many married couples who end up getting into bad marriages made one or more of the following mistakes:
1. Committing to a relationship with the first person they like
2. Mistaking physical/sexual attraction for love
3. Got married too young, ie before their values are formed
4. No care and concern for the other in their relationship
5. Not financially independent as a married couple
6. Lack of communication between them
7. Lack of respect for each other

no, i think most people wind up in bad marriages for the following 3 reasons ... 1) they allowed pressure from relatives and friends to drive them when they had serious doubts and were too embarrassed to speak out ... 2) they presented themselves or their spouses presented themselves in a way to win approval and reverted to type after the vows. 3) fear of mate, of others opinions, of their own judgement

Defenitely. If you can see that the relationship is bad before the marriage, dont hope it will get better after the marriage.

Well, some people do that, I am sure. They are people who have a pea brain, no personal boundaries, low self-esteem and could not punch their way out of a paper bag.....those kinds of people!
