It's not that hard if you have two parents who raise you right. I'm seeing in the latest generation a bunch of childlike grown-ups who never had to earn anything, work for anything, and were raised with some weird sense of entitlement to all they wanted along with instant gratification for what they wanted. They may have thought their parents were the best, but now that they're finding out what the real world is like, perhaps they'll come around to the realization that they were the worst. That's why life is so hard. They were never prepared for it.

Because some of us are more stubborn and have to do things the hard way.

But some of us can learn from others mistakes so we don't have to waste time making the same ones.

Good books can offer some insights to what others have done, Scriptures are chuck full of good lessons but they do you no good if you don't read them and study them. If you fail to read and study a bit, your doomed to repeat the same lessons, over and over. What a waist of time.

IF you have no faith of your own, start with the old testament in the bible. It is used by both christians and jews (jews are the chosen people remember so their stuff can't be all bad) any book of scripture used by 2 different faiths must be of some value. Start there. After 6,000 years of history human nature has not changed at all. If you fail to learn your history you are doomed to repeat it.

You need to get the DVD called "The Secret"...you can find it at http://thesecret.tv/ (no www or dot com or org) It's a DVD that teaches you a different way of thinking in a positive way. Everyone reacts certain ways to situations either positive or negative. Even when you're trying to think positive, subconsciously you're thinking in negative ways. Know the old saying "you reap what you sow"? When, if you're putting out negative energy (angry, frustrations, put downs, bullishness, depression etc) you will keep getting that back! Everything in our world, our universe, belief in God or not... everything we put out we get it back..if you want goodness and desires in your life, you got to put that out as well. If you're angry and resentful, you'll get that back too. It's all about the Law of Attraction. So get the DVD, either purchase it or watch it online. It's about 2 hours long...it's mind boggling and guaranteed to change your life, your way of thinking and doing and saying etc! It's changing mine in the biggest way! There are books also you can buy that go by the alignment of the laws of attraction too.
Life is a lesson, good and bad, easy and hard. The hard times are what makes us stronger...if life was fully of easy stuff, we'd learn nothing!
Good luck

life is always full of ups and downs even at old age!

this is esp. true when i come to know some of the unhappiness my netfriends are facing.

but as far i read the autobiographies of successful businessmen each crisis is a turning point to their achievement!

i reckon we have to learn to live our life happily esp. when times are bad as we really cannot derive long time satisfaction from anything.

hope this help! cheer up!

No body ever said life is easy,as I see it you get out what you put in.Do a good deed, help someone you know needs a hand and the good turn will come back to you.Karma I've heard is instant though it may take a while to get to you.

life is a set or collection of quizzez, tests, exams, and experiments.
when you pass any of these, you have learnt your lesson well.
but when you fail, you have to put some more effort to make it possible to pass in order to learn that lesson.

It is for some and not for others. We need to learn our lessons from a situation and move on. When we don't 'get it', life is harder.

Difficulty breeds character. When you have to work hard and struggle to earn something it is worth more to you. It becomes that much more fulfilling to get it.
