Richness is in the heart and spirit. What you have to give is yourself not your wealth. What you have to give is what cannot be taken away from you. The richest person in the world is the honest to ones self person who shares that with others.

My dear, they may be aware and start giving to the less unfortunateones, the next question is what is the source of their riches? This is because most of those who are rich in my country have either embezzel or obtain their wealth from other bad sources. Those who properly obtain their wealth from clean sources can be blessed if they give to the poor. My country is lead by corrupt people. Contact me if you wish to know such a country.

Rich people (for the most part) are not GIVEN the best opportunities. The EARNED it. Sure, there are Paris Hiltons in this world who haven't done anything to deserve their wealth. However, their parents and grandparents did.
My grandparents didn't have two nickels to rub together. My parents, uncles and aunts were working stiffs. My cousins and I have at least 2 college degrees each. Whatever we have, we earned. And we are all generous people.

Let me answer your question with a homework assignment. Read "The End of Poverty" by Jeffrey Sachs. This guy is not some dreamer. He's a distinguished economist who is, among other things, a professor at Columbia University. They lured him away from Harvard. He founded Millennium Promise. They have a website at www.millenniumpromise.org. Be sure to spell millennium right. I didn't the first time. Professor Sachs' biggest fan is the entertainer Bono, lead singer for U2, who is or was one of his students.

Yes. Riches and prosperity are good, but we all have social responsibilities. Christians also have Godly resposibilities and one of those is helping your fellow man. Feed the hungry, clothe the poor, provide shelter for the homeless...

Jesus said "Blessed are the poor" because they trust in God, but most rich people trust in their wealth.
God be with you.

Probably. Many rich people don't know Jesus. But as they say, you can't take it with you.
