I fully agree with all my heart. I was wounded in the active service during the Gulf War in 1991 and I am really lucky to be alive today. I really feel for all the young kids who died in Iraq or worse, who came home without limbs and completely disabled. I can not really tell why our Government is keeping them in Iraq, which is really no treat to our country. Our beloved leaders ****** up, and now they do not want to admit their mistakes to the people. Hope, things will change after 2008, but how may more thousands young soldiers will be dead ( who are alive today)?

I completly disagree. I think the President had an excellent speach last night about not leaving Iraq, I 100% agree with him.

You can't just leave a nation that desires to be free but is continually oppressed by terrorists.

How can people be so blind? Can you not see that these countries "farm" terrorists that plot against other nations who believe in freedom? Lets say we pull out of Iraq, a few years later we are hit by terrorists, you (the people who wanted troops pulled) will blame Bush and the US for pulling out.

Troops should only be there if there is a reasonable chance of achieving something positive otherwise they are being sacrificed for nothing. I don't hear too many military personnel or politicians who express any optimism that anything is or can be achieved. Supporters of the war in Iraq should stop deluding themselves-it's a lost cause and they should deal with that fact.

Do some research. More people die in LA in a week than Soldiers died in the three years we have been in Iraq. We are doing good things. So instead of talking bad about it Shut up and come on over, and see for yourself. If your not old enough then, join when you are.

I agree, I support the troops, but not when the troops and american citizens are unknowingly being lied to. Why are we fighting? And what does this have to do with the 911 murders?
