Renna makes a great point. People choose a religion based on what they want to get out of it. For most, it is eternal salvation which is why "most" people choose religion now. If you lure people to your religion with the promise of kinky sex, that is what they want to get out of it, so unless you constantly provide kinky sex, they will not remain. So you need to base your religion on kinky sex and then concoct a higher (or lower) value system that supports the sex and qualifies your group as a religion.
As others have said, there are cults out there that do this. They are fringe organizations that do not garner any popular support and engage in illegal activities.

There are actually some cults that use those things. But I think it's like a friend of mine says, what you use to reach them is what you're winning them to. In other words they're not necessarily coming for the in depth teaching, they just want "the good stuff".

because not only are they destructive but our culture and society frowns on these particular items being used especially for religious purposes. if one used these for such purposes then this person would be considered deviant and subject to the laws rules and mores of society.
