Have you ever used a Ouija board ?

I used to years ago, but not for a long time now. it does work whether its ghosts, spirits or your subconscious i don't know?

but stuff definitely happens when you use one.

The Ouija board is a simple tool for the communication of spirit. It is derived from the planchard which was used in the early years of the spiritualist movement.

The Ouija board is not a dangerous thing, merely the letters a-z, and Numbers 1-9 and of course the yes and no.

The problem however is with the person(s) using the board, for if you are not aware of who is communicating with you, IE, you can not see, hear, or sense them, who have you got?

Autosuggestion through the subconscious mind has to play a part in the use of the board, though better results are obtained with people who are sensitive, most without realising the fact.

I've never used a Ouija board but I have used a channeling board which is pretty much the same thing. I think as long as you use these tool with good intentions then you will be fine but I wouldn't advise people to just pick one up and play it as a game.

At one point in time I did play with them. Then figured that one of us was probably pushing the slider. Then I tried this:

Ours was non-sense. When we couldn't see it, nothing came of us playing it.

Yeah I agree very strange things happen if you mess with a Ouija board!

Years ago now we had a bad spirit some through and it shattered the glass we were using, so we picked up the pieces and put them in the bin.
Only to find the next day when our mum was emptying the bin and she wanted to know why the glass was in the bin?
Because it broke was out quick response, but when she took the glass out of the bin it did not even have a crack in it!

That is what you get when you mess with a Ouija board and the bad spirits come through! My cousin did not believe us when we told him! But for sure that glass shattered, but not when my mum pulled it out of the bin it wasn't!

How do you explain that??????????????????

Ouija boards work on your (and those who are also touching the pointer thingy) subconscious. Though you aren't consciously moving your hands, your expectations cause your subconscious to move them where you think the pointer should go.

There really isn't any proof that Ouija boards can contact the dead. And really, I don't trust any device sold as a toy (in Toys R Us no less) to accurately tell me what a spirit might want me to know.

As there is a perfectly biological explanation, I don't believe that Ouija boards are good for anything more than entertainment.

Yeah, I've used them. I had one that knew my dead grandmother's name. The guy that I was doing it with knew nothing about my family. I don't know if it was a subconscious thing either, but it was pretty wierd. I've had other stuff happen, but I would have to go into much further detail and I don't really have the time to do so now.

Yes, a few years ago now. There were only three of us and i know i wasn't pushing the glass. The other two swear they weren't either and as they are people i would trust with my life i believe them.

It was very slow but definitely spelt out words that made sense to one of the participants.

I used to do it iwth 3 of my friends all the time at comp. We used to get some weird stuff from it but we never stopped. It's not put me off from one day doing it again, I take it with a pinch of salt. Although one did tell me I'd die at 32 so we'll see how that goes.

Apparently it's one of those things where you think you're not pushing it but you actually are.

I haven't, but my mom and one of her sisters did when they were teens. They snuck it in thinking it was just another game. Later on they found out what it really was. My mom told me about it, but no details...didn't want to talk about what happened.
She just told me to stay away from it and any kids who played it. I was a teen at the time and Ouija was gaining popularity in my area.
