There are two options that I can think of...One, go down to the local co-op and purchase a puppy bottle and some 'queen's" milk...(really expensive) and feed the little darlin every 4 hours and then make sure you wash him/her with a warm wet washcloth so as to stimulate his bowels to process the milk he just ate...( if you dont do this he will just fillup and his own bowels will poison him and he''ll die)
Orrrrrrr you can hurry and find someone else who's cat had kittens and take one of those kittens and rub him all over the stray baby so the nest scent is on him and hope that the Mommy cat starts washing him and he will probably be the best off. The pound will probably just gas him as he takes alot of special care at this age...:o(
Blessed Be~

Yes, animal control will take it, but most animal controls euthanize after about 2-4 weeks. And I don't know if they'll take the time to care for an unweaned kitten. Since you suspect it hadn't been weaned, try and find a no-kill shelter.....they'll have people working there who will know how to care for it.
PetSmart and Petco do adoptions, but it's through local humane societies. And it wouldn't be good to give an unweaned kitten to just anyone, so I wouldn't recommend sitting outside a store and waiting for someone to take it.
Good luck!

You can either take it to the pound or put up ads at the store on the bulletin board to the public or put an ad in the paper. Either one should work. Also you can go to WalMart and get kitten formula and a bottle to feed it in the pet section. Good luck!

Petsmart or Petco offer adoptions. Another successful way to find the kitten a good home is to sit outside of one of the stores (ask permission first) and offer it up to anyone who wants a kitty. Don't take the kitten to the pound.

If you still have the kitten, you need to buy it nursing bottles and milk. You can find these in the pet section of your grocery store. Call your local animal shelter and find out if they can take it, I don't think they put animals to sleep here. I don't think the humane society puts them to sleep either. Don't take it to the pound unless you want it put to sleep.

You can take any animal to any animal shelter. A local shelter should be listed in your telephone book.

Take it to an animal shelter. Make sure the shelter is no kill though.
