In Trinidad, check out Alicia's house. I've seen it rated highly both by tourists and locals alike. The rates are reasonable and it is very close to downtown Port-of-Spain.

Stay at Auntie Flo's on Tobago. She's a lovely woman. Check in the Lonely Planet guidebook - I can't remember her address.

Hilton. Or a nice bed and breakfast inn. There is alot of them that are nice. In Tobago Turtle Beach Inn. Or you rent a nice beach house in Maracas Beach.

I stayed 3 years in a row in Alicia's. It is nice for a reasonable price. Some of the rooms are noisy though.

i recommend the turtle beach resort in plymouth, tobago. i stayed there and saw turtles laying their eggs great service too.
