The key word here is ILLEGAL they are breaking the law!!!
Does this mean all criminals should be released they broke the law and were incarcerated.Right after 9/11 armed troops should have been stationed at our borders and use force if nessecary to stop all ILLEGALS from entering. All this talk about amnesty and worker programs is BS we already have a program its called a work visa and thats the LEGAL way to do it.
They take jobs Americans dont want is hogwash also I was unemployed for a year and I couldnt find work anywhere around here but I went to a few places and seen spanish speaking people who could barely speak english getting good paying jobs. The companies hiring these ILLEGALS should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law or maybe deported with their workers.
We need to stand up to our government and tell them we are tired of them doing everything for their gain America was built on the understanding that the people had the say so not big business or big banks.

16. Traffic citations and accidents - Illegals have no real name or address - if they are get a citation or are involved in an accident - they just disappear and surface again with a new counterfeit license and address- and good luck with your insurance company - misdemeanor - Deportation

If you are an illegal immigrant to this country you shouldn't have any rights in this country.Bottom line you are a criminal from another country but yet you scream loudly about your rights. What rights? Other that to be treated fairly when you are arrested and either jailed or deported then you are entitled to a fair trial. But if you are an illegal immigrant you are a criminal and shouldnt be awarded any rights that legal Americans enjoy. No to Amnesty and report and deport ALL illegal immigrants from All country's.

Did you try picking strawberries in the fields? I'm sure that there's plenty of jobs for those.

But i do agree with punishing businesses that encourage illegal labor. It brings down the quality of life of EVERYONE involved but the business and shouldn't be tolerated. But you should also include how so many american businesses are shipping so many jobs outside the country in order to cut costs and reduce their tax liability.

Possibly, if we kept all our jobs here, then there'd be enough work for everyone. People complained that the country was going to hell when the Irish came, the Polish, the Jews, the Chinese and Japanese, yet... we still managed to pull through, I highly doubt that a few more people from a different walk of life will hurt all that much if we were smart about our own domestic policy.

Just because a person doesn't speak English well and is Hispanic does not make them illegal.

Mexicans did not attack us on 9/11, and the Muslims who did the attcks did not come over through our southern border.

Those two criticisms of your logic aside, companies should be prosecuted for hiring illegal aliens and the borders should be more secure.

The people have spoken. But Bush isn't listening. As long as he's in office, there will be no illegal immigration reform. In fact, the illegals are gaining more and more benefits such as Social Security, etc. America needs to start demonstrating against those that crossed our borders illegally, and put a huge burden on employment, health care and education. If they are allowed to stay, America will never be the same...)(

Low skilled illegals are employed almost entirely by small businesses. Some States have made it very difficult for small business owners with employees, to make a profit or stay in business. Additionally these business laws discourage many from even starting a business. Employing Illegal workers and paying them under the table is more cost effective. Farmers stating they need illegal workers in order to keep fruit prices low, is the same reason plantation owners used to justify their need for slaves, to keep the cotton prices low. The Americans saying it's OK for illegals to be here, don't care one bit about illegals, they only care about keeping illegal-Hispanics working the same jobs, paying the same low wage and get them to believe this is all they're able to do.
We need to deport illegals, punish business owners hiring them and modify laws to encourage new/existing businesses.

85 to 90% of Americans agree with you. The extreme liberals, the liberal media and the illegal community are working very hard to put out whatever rhetoric they can to make their plan work.

It is harder for me to put my handicapped son on an airplane to visit his father than it is for 1,000 illegals to cross the border. They enter America, steal identities, steal jobs, and because so many are already criminals...continue to perpetuate crimes on the American people.

How many terrorist are crossing into our nation? How many cells are being developed all across our land? We do not know because the illegals are here without benefit of any screening whatsoever.

I agree all the illegals should be sent back to own country Im not for really prosecuting them and keeping them in our jails/prisons as they will cost us taxpayers money that way sent them home. I dont think any should be allowed to come over they are taking our jobs and guess im just a bit prejudice against them as I cant understand a word they are saying dealt with a foriegn doctor at a va hospital with my husband, demanded a american doctor

I do not know why Americans think that it is okay for immigrants to come and take our jobs. There are so many Americans that need jobs to support their famalies and they can't get them because they are giving the jobs to foreigners because they will do the job for less than us Americans would. We need to support out famalies! There are plants closing their doors all over the place. The jobs are being sent over seas so that what ever the plant makes can be produced for a lot less money. So we are screwed eather way. They come here and take our jobs or our jobs go there and they still get our jobs. I am sick of it. Someone should do something about it!
