Jesus did not pay my rent today. I did. Jesus did not intervene when my cousin was mugged last week and had her nose broken.

Jesus was born a poor Jewish man who, if a live today, would sell all his lovely cliches to the Hallmark Corporation to be turned into greeting cards, because that's all he'd be useful for.

So, no. I didn't thank Jesus today. He was to busy appearing in a vision to a Colombian grandmother dying of pneumonia in the Bronx to even hear me utter the words "Thank you".

Yes...My husband was traveling last night and didn't get home until 3 am and the first thing I did when he got home was "Thank Jesus". I love having that security of knowing he is watching over my family.

Sure did as soon as he finished mowing my lawn. Then I asked him if he wanted a bottle of Tequila, but I couldn't understand his response because I don't speak spanish.

You don't thank Jesus, you thank God, just as he did. Unless you know something he didn't know. You thank God for giving his only begotten Son as a sacrificial lamb for your sins.
