People who claim to know that it is proven that God doesn't exist use science as the basis of their claim. Yet when they say it is fact, proven fact, they make themselves look ignorant to the way that science works. All of science is theory based on strong evidence, why do they think this makes it fact? The only fact is, is that no one knows the truth for certain, we only have evidence, feelings and convictions.
And I'm most definitely NOT looking for biblical scriptures, I am not Christian (or any sect thereof) but I am spiritual and believe that God exists but also that science exists. Believe being the opporative word here.

Evidence doesn't prove something to be fact, it proves it to be possible, but not definate.

jsjmlj, Science doesn't compare 2 things and say that since one thing has more evidence then the other, it is known to be a fact. It says that it has a greater possibilty, but not fact.

I agree that science is mostly based on theories, but the theories do have strong evidence that suggests they might be true. Also, I find the majority of evidence leans towards the possibility that God does not exist, and so I go the rest of the way and say that is indeed true.
It is like picking a number in a pattern, 1,2,4,8,16,?
Do you know what comes next? I have the first 5 number and I'm simply predicting the next that God indeed does not exist.

It is simple, the people of that "science" claim that it can't coexsist with religion. They then claim that it is because of there being no God and also say well Religious people say that science can't coexsist. Odd I am a Christian yet I believe in Gravity(science) I believe in advances in Medical Science, last I knew Planes can fly(once again that would be science over religion) and could proably name many more. Religious people believe in alot more science then those "science" people want to admit. They don't want to move out of the dark ages so they claim that is where Religious people are. Well most of the modern world has moved on and realized there is room for both. Heck most people who truly believe sciences will admit the Bible is a historic document. Yeah some has to kinda be translated to modern sights but they are still mostly there and if seen correctly they make sense.

I think there's room for both religion or spirituality and science. I believe that God uses His power over nature to talk to us sometimes. They have scientific proof that the Exodus really happened & it can be explained by scientific facts...I think that's awesome.

Why do you care so much what other people believe? Sounds like your looking for reasons to stop believing... Either way, everyone has the right to believe in what they want. Just becuase you claim to believe in god and science doesnt make you an expert or even someone with the right to judge anyone else

Glory of God is intelligence. We can't separate science and universal laws from God. God Himself abides by them, otherwise He would cease to be God. It's just our brain or five senses are not smart enough to see and perceive everything as they are. Our spirits know it though. We're imperfect, thus our machines, experiments, tools, microscopes etc are all imperfect. God knows all and He reveals truth according to our capacity to receive and use them wisely.
