Normally the high speed typing is 80 WPM and me typing on computer for nearly 23 years has given me a speed somewhere around 100 WPM but ofcourse I have not checked it.

There was a typing tutor software, one version which answered your queries. It had a picture of someone which the cover claimed was the fastest typist and it clocked user's timings too.

lets see.....i can type really fast if you ask me to type nonsense, ie oaiuroaisasoiruaosrl.
but wpm, not as good as some ppl here...so no point saying. =)
