Absinthe, but not as much as Paris Hilton's CD (nightmares)!!!!!

Both.
Here is what you do. Drink a bottle or half a bottle a day for a couple months or so, then go into withdrawals, there is a good chance you will hallucinate. There is a chance you will die too, but don't let that get in the way of a good trip.
(note, don't try that).

No absinthe today or in the past will make you hallucinate and thujone doesn't matter. Many of those that hallucinated on absinthe in the past did so through the method above.

Neither.
The worm (el gusano) in Mezcal (not Tequila, Tequila is part of a family of spirits known as Mescals) has lived in the Weber Blue Agave - a lily not a cactus - which is not known for it's hallucinogenic properties unlike the Peyote Cactus.
Absinthe/Absenta needs to contain higher than 14% by volume of a chemical known as Thujone (similar to THC in Cannabis) to have any real "trip" effect. Absinthe of this variety is now illegal and no longer commercially available. Mari Mayans brand Absenta is the only Absinthe on the market to use original wormwood amongst its botanicals, others use a derivitive herb from the wormwood family, but it still won't make you high.
I once got gifted a bottle of 120yo absinthe made to the original formula and 1/4 of a bottle felt like smoking a good half ounce of skunk though.
If you like Tequila and want to get high take one large "donkey dick" bud of fresh skunk and fling it into a bottle of Corralejo Anejo Tequila and let to infuse for 3 months. Strain and drink the resulting maceration to get properly messy!!

I have drunk shed-loads of Tequila and never come close to hallucinating. Yes, even in Mexico, and even eating the worm. Eat the San Joachim cactus itself, and it's a different matter! I suggest a trip to the Valley of the Moon in Bolivia to try it at first hand. Well wierd! Better still was the Obogo vine snuff in Peru. have not tried absinthe - yet.

LORD !! It has to be absinthe! I had it years ago at a small party when working in the Music Industry. Everyone who attended had strange freaky dreams!! Tequila (love it by the way) just makes you want to hurl !!

Hmmm. I think that if you drink enough of either of them you will probably do alot more than hallucinate. Trust me I know. Absinthe at least has a better taste. More like licorice. Cheers!

Neither. The drinks has been changed. I have a "Fee Verte" tattooed on my shoulder to remind me of my 1st experience with Absinthe. She's lilac from the Red bottle and is beautiful.

Neither. But Absinthe definitely makes you go more "funny." Tequila is just pure evil. Why do people drink it?
