hey...
It seems like either she's a compulsive liar or she does not think much of your relationship. Either way it is not good. End it while you can. You need to first ensure that these are not your imaginings and making it out to be larger than they are. Weigh the good times with the bad. People are not perfect, but if the bad outweighs the good, then it is time to leave.
Show her your respect yourself by ending it and making her walk. If she comes to realize your worth, she will plead to stay - and everyone deserves a second chance. Be forgiving. If she makes a big deal and walks, then it is good riddance.

If you do not have trust, you do not have a relationship. She might've lied about the drinking and driving thing so you would not lecture her, but if you suspect her lying about other things, then it's time you move on. Just think of it this way...breaking up with her will hurt but catching her in an even bigger lie down the road will hurt more.

well the fact shes lying to you at all is a bad thing. The trust has been broken and you're gona find yourself second guessing her from now on - only you can decide if its worth the bother of staying with her and never being sure if shes being truthful - its my belief that you shouldnt lie at all when you're in a happy loving relationship.

It is not small...if she lies about small things she is lying about big things too. She may not be just lying to you...she may be lying to herself also and either unable or unwilling to accept responsibility and the consequences for her actions; lying is easier than accepting the consequences of telling the truth, therefore, she lies to avoid conflict. It sounds like she may have an alcohol problem and/or self esteem issues and would benefit greatly from counseling. You can't make her go, but you can encourage her and if she chooses not to, you may want to consider terminating the relationship as by staying in it and tolerating her behavior, you are enabling her to continue in a downward spiral not only her, but you.

you need to ask yourself if you cannot trust this person then where is the relationship going, I feel that if lying starts with small stories then they're going to get worse, but only you know the status of your relationship. I can not stand being lied to, honesty is the best policy!

Er hello drink driving isn't a "small thing"!!! I would be worried about your girlfiends attitude towards others including yourself if she is selfish enough to drink and drive. It doesn't mean she has lied about anything else but hey like I said if she's that selfish who knows........

Bottom line is "if you dont have trust, then you have nothing" I think that you might need to pack it in and get a new girlfriend.

I hate lies too...Show no interests in her doing that, and than watch her reaction. If you're realy important to her,she will put some effort, but if you're not...she's just not worth it!
